  1. Definitely bummed, but also definitely the right decision. We do the frequent fear pass for this event every year but I really couldn't see it working this year even if they scaled back attendance. You still have the scare actors in close proximity to the guests. My son and his friend have a haunt they started two years ago in central Pennsylvania. I'm not sure if they will be able to open this year or not. Hoping they are able to ride it out if they can't.

As much as you are comfortable doing, please support your local businesses and parks etc. and be considerate of others health and wear a mask!! If you are not comfortable with a mask, stay home.

  2. Honestly after reading a lot of these reviews from this site, if Robb gave it an amazing review every person on here would be loving it. Since he didn’t almost everyone is hating on it. He is one opinion!!!! We love his reviews but doesn’t mean you have to agree with him!!! For god sakes have an opinion! You don’t have to agree with him 100% of the time, its ok I promise you will be ok if you don’t agree every time

What the FUCK is your problem??? Here's a review for you: I can't stand you. There. Now maybe everyone else on the site will hate you, too...

That's probably one of the most enlightening, enjoyable reviews I have ever read!

  3. That Olaf moment was beyond cute....I'm sure you'll cherish it.

Funny thing about rides and getting to "that age". I'll never forget taking my kids on one spinning ride after another at Knoebels, then finding myself in the bathroom blowing chunks. "What in the world happened?" The year before, I was fine, no problem at all...following year, and beyond, no can do!

    Awesome reports, really enjoying them!

  4. PPP is a blast and it is worth it! Hope you have a safe trip from Chicago. We're fortunate to only be a little over an hour and half from there.

The weather is a crap shoot this time of year. We have had weather ranging from the mid 40's and rain to mid 70's and beautiful the whole weekend. Will you be camping? That's a whole nuther experience in itself. Alot of the campsites are decorated.

They park will be open Saturday during the day for a separate ride pass, then later on, PPP opens up.

    Don't miss

    - Antique Cars

    - Pioneer Train

    - Halloween Costume Contest (some creative costumes)

    - Bonfire at the Campground (Dick Knoebel usually hangs out at this and there are free hot dogs and marshmallows)

The park will be open Sunday too...usually starts shutting down around 5 - 6pm.

  5. Also my dad is Handicapped and I want to know how accessible it will be for him and his wheel chair, and will it be enjoyable for him? Lastly i've been told you can bring your dog and even bring it on some of the rides is this true? Please give me as much advice as possible!

The park is wheelchair accessible, however most of the park has small crushed stone covering the ground, which may be a little more tiring than going on a paved surface.

As far as dogs, yes, dogs are welcome in the park and on some rides....no extra charge!! If your dog is fine around other dogs, there won't be any issues. I have seen some people bring dogs that did not interact with other dogs well at all.

We take our dogs all the time. They have been on the Antique Cars, Pioneer Train, Old Smokey Train, the Motorboats, the Carousel (bench seat) and once we took them through the Haunted Mansion!!! That was more for our enjoyment! They kind of just took it all in.

We'll be up for the Phall Phunfest next weekend. Keeps getting better every year!!

  6. My wife and I were up for opening day on Saturday. It was a little cool but all in all nice weather. Wasn't as crowded as previous opening day's...my guess is because of the cool temps. I remember opening day last year, the line for wristbands stretched all the way back to the Pirate Ship. Got to ride Black Diamond, around 1/2 hour wait. Loved it!! My new favorite dark ride!! Twister re-tracking made it a "mite bit" smoother, but not too much.

It was Dick Knoebels birthday and they were having a cake and celebration for him at the Phoenix Junction. I got to shake his hand and wish him happy birthday.

Best of all, I got to see my grandson take his first rides in the kiddie area. It was awesome...he couldn't stop smiling on each ride!! Future coaster junkie for sure!!
