And Casey Jr is a credit, I wish the US ones were, it will give me a bit more of a buffer for getting to 300 in August (203 at the moment).
It's only a credit to the cheaters who count powered coasters.
Casey Jr. in the US does have a lift hill but its also powered.

"as big as 200ft"? I'd hope 200ft would be the minimum. Preferably 230+ ft.
KI is one of the last major parks without a hyper - so I sure hope it is one even with a splash gimmick.
Son Of Beast is a wooden hyper, but not a very good one.

As for signs, JZ texted me several other messages: "Ride Sally Ride!" "Steep incline ahead!" "Slippery when wet!" "Move slowly...do not disturb!"
I think we can rule the slippery one as the waterbrake, and the steep incline one hints back at a Dive Machine, or atleast a steep drop. Not sure about the Sally one, but that last one does remind me of something from the other day.
I went on the train, and the operator started talking about the "KI Grizzly" in the woods. I looked over and saw a wooden statue of a grizzly bear. Now, I know that we have hints of the coaster name being "Mustang", but that grizzly statue was something I hadn't noticed before, and CF has a tendancy to clone names (already two Grizzly's in other parks.) Now why this reminds me of the last sign, its probabbly better to not bother bears
Either way, I'll be in the park on Tuesday to check it out myself...
The Grizzly is from the old train show the park used to have. It was a old west theme show were the train got robbed.

This is what I think is the new ride might possibly be like. The colors I made are based upon the pictures of track in "Kennyweirds" post. And I put and x on the tips of the track because I have no idea what
1-Station
2-End of ride
3-(black) Brakes and railing/steps.
4-Possible water touch/brake
5-Lift hill
6-Into the woods
7-Out of the woods.
I think your missing a footing next to the green building and also one in line for the Crypt.

^Either an Invert or an Intamin...Either one is fine with me. I think KI needs another solid flat ride to go along with The Crypt, Delirium, and Drop Zon..err Droop Tower. You know something like Sky Hawk at Cedar Point.
Sky Hawk is a very short ride. It was nice and all but very short not worth the wait.

Your camera must be in a pocket of some kind. If you try to take it out to record or take pictures they will yell at you in the station.

Just found out I think it's going to be the future site of a Mini Golf course for the Great Wolf Lodge. I can't find the article, but I found it on KIC.

I saw the area your talking about next to SOB. Its not going to be a Putt Putt Golf. Just looks they are moving the dirt to that side of the park.

One thing about Alien Encounter at WDW never had a long line at night. It was a good show but once you saw it once it got old.
The only reason I am calling this ride a show is that you did not move at all.

I have not losing interest in your trip reports. Just got busy at work and not a lot of time to use the computer when I get home anymore.
I called about my GPS and it will work in Canada.

I went to Kings Island today, but I forgot my camera at home. The park was very crowded and had a 1970's area set up for the weekend.
Here is a picture from my cell phone. You can really see how far back the new coaster will go.

They will have trams though!
When is the last time the trams ran? Talk about really turning back the clock.

Did you know their used to be a Amusement Park called the Ludlow Lagoon not to far from my house.

The new coaster will not have water jets like the Stunt Coaster. Guess you just have to wait and see.

I wonder if the new B&M trains could get the splash down effect on the back of the train. The new trains are longer and would fit in that area.

I know you were saying they took out the theming to the showroom for the most part, but do they still have the theming in the room the ride is located in?
Nope its just a big black box with lights and music.

I've always loved TR:TR. But now that the whole "ride show" is gone. It's really like a large garage! There are even tire tracks on the floor! But the thing I hate the most is that they still have bright white flood lights to light it up. I mean, why not have it pitch black? Or have some cool dark neon colors?
I mean, you go though this tropical area, then enter a creepy cave, pass dead bodies that dead ends you to the creepy demon rat. And then you go into what?

Um, wtf? I really wished there was an 'alternate ending'.
Haha I remember calling James when outside the Crypt. I was like "dude, I hear techno coming from the building.....I'm scared!"

I was at the park today and thought the same thing about the Crypt. Good thing I only waited 12 min. Also you forgot to tell them it has only has 2 rows like every other Top Spin. Last year it had 3 rows.

Love the potted plant on the footer! For whatever reason, Flight Deck looks nicer back buy the ques than I remember in years. Also like the play on words with the Outer "Hanks" Shrimp Shack.
Did you get on the Crypt yesterday?...or was it closed like usual? Just wondering about the theming. I know they used the Land Rover during halloween last fall, and they totally had it stripped of any TR memorabilia. But just wondering about all the inside theming...such as the monkey warriors, ect.
The Crypt was closed down all day. A guy standing around in the morning said they had it open for a party the day before on the 19th. Fight Deck looks different with no posters or flags around any more. Also the new Forwards Red Racer has some great air time .

Me and my brother just got back from Kings Island. Here are some pictures we took during are trip.
All the theme from Top Gun is gone.

I kinda forgot about it but in the 80's their was a Steel Beast rumor going around the park.
