Less than 30 minutes to go. Hurry up!
-
^ Man I loves me some Foster The People. Great video!
-
Glad to see TG and Mindbender in your top 10, Chuck!
-
^I had quite a few to add since the last steel poll, so it's been a bit tricky for me, too--also rethought some old rankings.
I did a bit of that too, Chuck. I always try to take into consideration the feelings I had at the time I rode it though before jumping too hastily into changes.

Whew done. I only had about 10 or so coasters to add, but it was really time consuming redoing my old ballot from 2 years ago since a lot had changed. The time spent is definitely worth it though for what I feel is still the best voting method available. Reminder the cutoff deadline is in 4 more days on the 28th!

Is this a normal amount of snow for Liseberg this time of year? It just doesn't look like a whole lot considering how far north it is from me.

^^ I totally LOL'ed on The Smiler!!!

Two nights ago I had the craziest dream about Space Mountain (I think in Florida). I made my way through the line ready to board, but inside it was a free for all with no queue rails to guide me to a seat, so I just jumped in wherever I could. The ops were TERRIBLE and not helping seat anyone. The ride began but suddenly my rocket sled turned into some kind of ice cream stand and shot out onto a hidden back part of the building with me riding in it. Well hmmph, I wasn't having that, so when it came to a halt I got out and got right back in line. Once again chaos in the queue as I really wanted a front seat ride. After at least an hour trying to get in a front seat, I gave up and walked out the exit to see my mother and sister waiting for me. It was such a bummer!

Look at that POV of Mystery Mine, even if you know the ride... Second lift:
[youtu_be]
[/youtu_be]I may be missing some sarcasm here not sure, but the second lift and thereafter short part of the ride is the ONLY good part of MM. I'm not sure how this is a bad view.

$3.50ish in Nashville. What's up with this sudden sharp increase?

Is this real life?
Is this just fantasy?

Bob, I fear if your records are sitting in the attic I wonder if they are even playable now. How hot does it get up there?
-
^ Great photo! I would love to see that chairlift porch swing in Telluride...well I'd love to see Telluride in general.
I was out picking around Nashville today when I went in one antique store and was just given a FREE pair of K2 snow skis and poles! They will be a cool addition to my back deck decor.

You can't properly celebrate Valentine's Day without a little chocolate in some form or fashion. This postcard from chocolate mecca, Hersheypark, arrived at the Paradise courtesy of my good friend, Ryan, with whom I've done several TPR trips. He always sends me great cards wherever he travels, and this is one of the best...Lightning Racer! It is without a doubt my favorite racing coaster I've ever ridden. Thanks again for the card, Ryan!
Oh and also, here's a little flashback to the earlier days of Hershey with some 1981 promo materials. Kisses.
What's inside this folder?
Spending money!
Sweets from 1981
<3 this gatefold!
The Reese's Siamese twins are a little creepy but still adorable too.
Let's play spot the Intamin wheel.
A cyclops eating chocolate is a great theme for an Enterprise.
Oooh there's the Intamin wheel photobombing again!
More 1981 goodness from Chocolate Town
I'm going to eat you little girl!
Remember kids it's spelled s-c-h with an f on the end.
Gertrude...are you hiding somewhere out there?
Amish Mafia!
Hershey really is a fun park.
Happy Valentine's <3

^I like Bojangle's and take my mom there for breakfast sometimes. They always bring around free Bo-berry biscuits and cinnamon rolls which are scrumptious.

Taco Bell announced today a new flavor for their Doritos Locos Tacos...Cool Ranch! Coming March 7th.

My first real record (other than Sesame Street or the Hobbit) was Love Gun from Kiss. Unfortunately, I only have the sleeve left!
Does that mean you no longer have the cardboard/paper gun that came with the Love Gun vinyl? Sadly, I've lost mine somewhere along the way!

In a somewhat related note, I have decided to trick out the wooden deck on the back of my house to a snow skiing theme. Since the deck is elevated, I need a ski lift chair to hang from underneath. I love grilling out there during the warmer months!

I may have missed this, but will the Starflyer be the tallest structure in Goteborg? I don't remember too many other tall buildings there.
Well, as Gröna Lund is in Stockholm, it would be hard to be the tallest structure in Gothenburg...
But it will be the second tallest in Stockholm, only beaten by The Kaknäs Tower (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaknästornet)
It will still be the taller than all the buildings in Gothenburg, the tallest thing in Gothenburg is Liseberg's Atmosfear.
Oops, where is my mind?! Thanks for the correction and information.
