I always try to eat something local - if I can eat it at home I avoid it! That being said if i'm stuck with a chain I love Macaroni Grill or regional chains we don't have in FL. (even though this is in the Ask Alvey forum it seems to be directed to everyone.. )

Totally would love to do a trip to Mexico some day.. I love the country but I really want to see some of the non-touristy places.. Plus random credits are always good.. Still trying to figure out how to get those credits in Cuba...hmmm...

I thought it was going to be another one of those "OMG SIX FLAGS IS BUILDING A PARK IN (insert random central florida city name) HERE!! MY MOMS BROTHERS FRIEND TALKED TO THE GUY WHO BOUGHT THE LAND!!!"...argh

Ugh.. We will *not* be using our sea world passes on that day.. We actually kinda had a nice night at Sea World the other day.. It was deserted and we entered the park about 2 hours before close and just walked around. Then we stayed for the disturbing "Shamu Rocks America"... ugh.

ARGH.. Travel all the way to france and I miss one of the few credits I will be able to get on this trip!! Oh well.. Perhaps I will at least get some construction pics.

Hmm... I think the most disappointing themed ride that I have been on since it was in a major park that should have done it right (and I know a lot of folks are going to disagree with me here) is Ripsaw Falls at IOA. While it is a very fun ride it looks like they ran out of money for the story and theming about 1/2 way inside. Tons of exposed steel girders, lack of paint and anamatronics where they only made 1/2 the body complete the effect. I guess it just contrasts so harshly with the rest of the park it stands out.
