  1. At least I wasn't planning on visiting KD this summer. I'll probably be going in October, which I don't mind. Is i305's train still stuck on it's lift? I remember hearing that it can't go anywhere until the ride is fixed.
  2. I forgot about the one at Knoebles. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUU8MIwVUSY
  3. Volcano's launch is pretty strong, can't say it disappoints. Now, I was about six or seven when I went on the Rock N' Roller Coaster it's opening year so I don't have a lot of memory from it, but I can recall that ride having a pretty forceful launch. I have the on ride photo somewhere, and the look on my face showed lol. Also while Cheetah Hunt's launches may not be the most forceful, they are still worth mentioning. Great ride!

  5. Anaconda at Kings Dominion I believe in 04. My friends and I were riding in the last car at least 10 times in a row before closing, no problem. We ended up riding in the second car for our last ride, and it was the most brutal experience I've ever encountered on a roller coaster. I still remember all the head banging starting from the moment the train left the tunnel going into the first loop. I earned to ride in the last car of Arrows, they seem to have less head banging. And yes I still love Arrow coasters.
  6. The Butterfly Loop. It just looks painful.
  7. Yes I305 is awesome at night. Especially if you ride it during Halloween Haunt, you look to the right going up the lift and the whole park is surrounded by fog. Rebel Yell, Anaconda, and Grizzly are also a few good rides at night. Also any roller coaster at BGW is amazing to ride at night. My most memorable night ride would be the Big Bad Wolf during Howl-O-Scream 2005. I loved how the only lights were the candles in the windows of the village. I don't think there was any lights near the last drop, can't really remember. Wish the ride was still there.
  8. Anaconda (Kings Dominion)-Replace OTSR or the trains. Roar (Six Flags America)-Replace the PTC trains with Millennium Flyers. Bizarro (Six Flags New England)-Change it back to Superman and take the stupid on board audio off (Wasn't even working when I went on), plus the seats make it harder to see. Montu (Busch Gardens Tampa)-Take off the trims before the Batwing.
  9. My favorites (In no specific order): Intimidator 305 Kings Dominion-Easily one of the best drops on any roller coaster. Bizarro SFNE-Especially in the back, you can't really tell when you're about to go over the first drop. Apollo's Chariot BGW-Once again, the back seat is awesome. After the small dip coming off the lift, you get yanked over when going down the drop. Alpengeist BGW-It may not be the most thrilling drop, but I do love the way it spirals going into the Immelman.
  10. Warped Tour at Merriweather. There were a lot of band but I got to see Tonight Alive, I See Stars, 3OH!3, Motion City Soundtrack, August Burns Red, and Bring Me The Horizon. Never was a BMTH fan, but they put on an awesome show. Motion City and I See Stars were the main reasons I went. Tonight Alive was a somewhat new band from Sydney, and apparently we were the biggest crowd they pulled on the tour so far, which I thought was pretty cool. Overall it was a great day.
  11. I wish that ride was still there. I wasn't even tall enough when they removed it. My missed credits: -Gwazi (Tiger)-Shut down -Sand Serpent-I don't know if this really counts, because I rode it back when it was at Williamsburg. Skipped it when I was in Tampa a few months ago. -Pretty much every roller coaster at SFNE (Except for Bizarro, BDK, and Cyclone). It was Memorial Day and the park was very crowded. Even the Mind Eraser had an hour and a half wait. Goliath was also closed which had me a bit disappointed since I've never been on a GIB. Hopefully I'll be able to visit the park again on a slower day with everything up and running.
  12. Teardrop-Massive Attack

  14. ^I remember riding in the last car on the Anaconda ten years ago, about eight or nine times in a row. Besides the one transition after the MCBR, I didn't have any problem with head banging at all. Can't say the same when I rode in the second car later on, that was brutal.
  15. Both of the Busch Gardens have excellent train rides.
  16. I got to ride Manta and Kraken in the rain. That was pretty cool experience.
  17. Big Bad Wolf (BGW) Wild Maus (BGW) Two Face (SFA) High Speed Thrill Coaster (Knoebels) Whirlwind (Knoebels) I'm pretty sure there's more, but I can't think of them at the moment.
  18. Nice TR. I have to ride Kumba again. I went on a marathon with that ride back in March. And yeah, it sucks you didn't get to ride Scorpion. It's a great ride for a smaller sized coaster.
  19. I also forgot to mention the sounds of the OTSR on Arrow loopers when pulling them up or down. Listen at 1:02 in this video. On a side note, Drachen Fire's lift hill seemed more quiet than most Arrow's.
  20. Some of my favorite's: -B&M Roars, especally Kumba's -Arrow coasters in general (Lift, Brakes, etc) -SLC's lift hills -Wooden coasters
  21. Great pictures. I miss Florida so much. ^As for Scorpion, it was my first Anton. It may not look like much, but it's defenitly worth riding. I skipped it my first day at the park because of the lines and I didn't think it was worth my time, but I went back the next day when the park wasn't as crowded and got the chance to ride it. I'm so glad I didn't skip this ride.
  22. I partially blame SFNE for this. I over heard people saying the Great American Scream Machine is in SFOT while standing in line for Cyclone. Then I happen to stumble across this sign. Ha Come on Six Flags. Really?
  23. Spreeblitz at Spreepark. Sadly it's abandoned.
