  1. Big Bad Wolf. Too bad Busch Gardens didn't leave it open till the 2009 season was over, I went on the last weekend for HOS that year and it was in it's SBNO status.
  2. I try to take as less items with me as possible, but if I'm at a park that offers a water park and I plan on going, especially if I'm with my best friend, then I'll bring a drawstring with towels and to carry her stuff (Women always have to bring everything lol). When it comes to the colder seasons, I have a North Face jacket with zipper pockets so I usually don't mind bringing my cell phone and wallet with me.
  3. I really need to go back to Christmas Town, it looks like they've done so much since their first year (my first and only trip to CT). Maybe I'll catch a break next month and have time to go. BTW Verbolten looks amazing during CT.
  4. Invertigo-Two Face, Six Flags America SLC-Mind Eraser, Six Flags America Flying Dutchman-Batwing, Six Flags America once again LSM-Rock N' Roller Coaster, DHS. Also my first upside-down/Vekoma roller coaster.
  5. ^^Can I also add that it's one of the best sounding roller coasters too? I took this back in March and yes it was shot with a crappy Android, but it still gives you an idea. The sound it makes when it goes though the Cobra Roll.....
  6. I definitely wanna try and visit Christmas Town this year, haven't been since it's first year so I really like to see how much it's improved. I remember Italy being closed off that year as well. I also wouldn't mind getting a few rides on Verbolten and if I'm lucky enough Mach Tower.
  7. Couldn't agree more, Kumba has to be one of the best roller coasters I've ever been on. During my two day visit at BGT earlier this year, I rode Kumba countless number of times. It didn't even strike me that it was 20 years old till my second day at the park just for how fast paced and smooth the ride was.
  8. Deep Inside-Incubus
  9. Korea by Deftones
  10. Kumba by far, it's my second favorite roller coaster. Hulk was alright, but it definitely wasn't the smoothest B&M I've been on.
  11. Having been to Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens this year, I'm going to Pennsylvania and visit Hershey Park and hopefully a few others too like Kennywood, Knoebels, and Dorney Park. I haven't been to Hershey Park in 2004 and Knoebels in 2000 (I think). Kennywood and Dorney would be my first time visits if they happen. I'll still end up going to Kings Dominion too as I really can't wait to see the improvements for their 40th anniversary.
  12. I was at the park yesterday with a few of my friends and we had a great time. Crowds were light enough in the morning to get a few rides on i305, but got unsurprisingly packed around 6 o'clock. The lines for almost every ride that was open, was spilling out of their queues. The only maze we did was Club Blood which was alright. We also did Blue Ridge Bloodbath which I thought was pretty neat, except for the people in the cars in front of us getting scared and stopping every time there was an actor near by. We ended the night around 9:45 with i305, which IMO is the best roller coaster at night I've ever been on. Overall, it was great day and Kings Dominion did a fantastic job with Haunt this year. BTW This was the line for i305 (A 1H20M wait)
  13. ^^Oh man, I'll be at the park this Saturday and considering it's the last weekend for Haunt, I'm not expecting anything different as far as crowds go. I don't think my friends and I have the extra money for FL, but I believe we're supposed to be getting there at opening so hopefully that should give us some time to get some rides in.
  14. I definitely have to do this tour one day. Great TR!
  15. Kumba's layout is my favorite on any looping roller coaster. It just has the prefect combination of inversions and it has that bonus helix at the end. Even though I never rode it, Drachen Fire's always stood out to me. One of the best looking roller coasters ever made imo.
  16. Kings Dominion seems to be pretty relaxed about the re-ride policy. I remember re-riding Anaconda, Hurler and Grizzly over a dozen times each, one year.
  17. I like the last picture of Banshee from the midway. The ride is gonna look great when it's done.
  18. This is some great news. But I'm starting to wonder if we'll ever see anything in Drachen Fire's spot. It's been eleven years since the ride was removed and nothing's replaced it. BGW must have some reason.
  19. I remember hearing that a while back. In fact some of the targets might be still there. Great TR as always.
  20. Pretty much every ride at BGW, especially if it's at night.
  21. Gonna have to agree on this one. I wouldn't hate it so much if it wasn't such a short ride, pulling one hour waits on slow days.
  22. Howl-O-Scream was great when I went last Friday and Saturday. It seemed more mellowed out compared to my last visits (2005, 2009), but regardless my friend and I had a great time. We only did two of the mazes, Deadline and Cut Throat Cove. CTC was pretty neat and a nice change for HOS. It had the shortest line for any of the mazes there. Crowds weren't to bad both days either. Nessie, and Alpengeist had walk-ons through out both days. Also the lights under Nessie's loops were off on Friday, those were some interesting night rides. I also got to ride Verbolten for the first time. It won't replace the BBW for me, but it's still a great ride and definitely what BG needed. The night rides in the rain were great, the blue light and the fog machine under the last drop was awesome. Mach Tower was of course closed. Overall we had a great time and I still have the fun fall card so I might go back before HOS is over this year.
  23. Loch Ness Monster last Saturday night in the rain.
  24. Apollo's Chariot, and Bizarro (SFNE) have amazing drops in the back row as well.
