  1. Zach urged me to be social, so I’ll try. I can always click on the direct link to go back to this thread. I have always loved Hersheypark. It was my favorite family park until I discovered Knoebels. Unfortunately, I hadn’t been to the park for 20 years more or less. I’m sorry that I missed its growth over those years. Wildcat was new when I was there last, and it was actually smooth and fun then. Hersheypark still has those nice family touches, but it’s certainly a good rival for Great Adventure with an overall exciting variety of coasters and rides. Chocolate World and the zoo make it even better. On to the rides... Comet has always been a great woodie, and it’s neat now that the other rides have grown around it and Sooper. I get frightened by heights where I can feel them, so I freak on drop towers. Still, I forced myself to do the three drop towers from smallest to tallest and loved the combo of effects. Fahrenheit and Storm Runner are great fun, and Hersheypark gets points for keeping some of the classic rides like the monorail and Coal Cracker. I miss the spinning chuck wagon, which didn’t take up much space and should still be there. I’m surprised that they took out the themed Ferris wheel-like ride near the entrance. Times change... The Chocolate World ride has been improved, and you gain five pounds just walking into that building. Laff Trakk was just bad. You can see the entire ride, and it’s boring. My faves of the day were Lightning Racers and Skyrush. Lightning Racers ran perfectly and made me laugh as we ran neck and neck against the other side. At night, it’s absolutely beautiful with the chase lights. It made me feel like I was back on the Boardwalk in my favorite place in the world - Wildwood, NJ. Skyrush challenged me! I loved the speed, launch, layout and airtime. Despite being a seasoned rider, I could not keep my hands up for the whole ride. This monster flings you all over the place in an epic, manic, devious ride like that Betty White thing that Zach said. I must disagree about that dark ride. It’s the worst dark ride that I’ve ever experienced outside of a sketchy carnival. The artwork is only surpassed in its dreadful nature by the animatronic characters. The guns didn’t work, and the targets were stupid - people on poles, people playing sports, people smiling, etc. We just wanted it to be over and put down our guns. Even worse, the restraints are overkill because of some track hills. They are going to retheme it next year. Why bother?! Just give people real guns and grenades, and let them destroy the site. I’ll go back to Hersheypark on my own more often now like I used to do.
  2. I loved it. This is a wonderful experience from the wavy start to the balls-out speedy finish. Plenty of airtime in that smaller structure, too. There are no complaints. If people want to complain about wait time versus ride time, go back to the ‘70s through ‘00s when we had to wait hours for new rides with no smartphones to amuse us. The Batman of RMCs is a perfect description.
  3. Thanks for putting this together. It was the perfect length to watch in one sitting, and there was enough variety in the rides. That Stingray coaster is crazy and amazing! It's definitely on my bucket list. It was nice to see The Tornado from Stricker's Grove, and I think I was in one of the clips, so it made it more memorable to take me back to that nice little park on a perfect summer's day in 2014. Please do assemble another video. It's nice to escape for a half-hour.
  4. There is a log in the logo. Dare I guess that it's an extreme log flume through a forest fire where there's so much fire that the water parts are needed to douse the fire and it has the steepest drop of any log flume.
  5. I gave up long ago, and they're still traveling? I think they're faking the whole trip with old photos and have been at home the whole time.
  6. This is all beyond me at this point. It's tough! When do we get the answer?
  7. Yeah, the Frozen post gives away Japan because he posted the "Let It Go" video and said that he couldn't wait to see it soon. Stiles was a total red herring. The toys are Japanese, and the rooster was a teaser for the rooster on the toy rack. Super Target could be a reference to all of the super words thrown on Japanese things like Super Famicom, Super Nintendo, etc.
  8. This is much more fun than Where in the World is Matt Lauer. He doesn't even include coasters in his travels.
  9. This is the year of the rooster on the Chinese Zodiac, so the previous post is right. You did recently post a video of Mystic Manor and talked about great the ride is. Julia Stiles was a red herring. The Super Target was an indicator of going West. You couldn't fly north because of the snow and ice.
  10. New York City because New York is a Delta flight NOT cancelled on the board, Stiles is from NYC and she was in the Bourne movies (Bourne could have been considered a "super target").
  11. I'm torn because I already follow the Twitter account in my Twitter feed, so it doesn't help or hurt me to have the tweets on the front page. Still, others may not be near their phone or wherever they read their followed Twitter accounts, so I'll vote for Option 1 Both are good, though.
  12. I'm rccola666 - a level 23 Springfield with tons of cool stuff in my town.
