  1. She'll be 42 by next year for sure. She's tall and lean. But, she's in the "afraid of everything" stage when it comes to roller coasters and log flumes. She even went through a phase where she was afraid of tunnels. The two roller skaters we went on made her terrified of roller coasters. Those things are epic pieces of shit, so she thinks all of them are "too bumpy" now. She's riding Rookie Racer this year. She may not want to, but she is. My dad made me ride the Ninja and look where we are now.
  2. I've heard 5-years-old is about the perfect age for Disney. This year, we've planned Pensacola and back to Holiday World. She doesn't ride roller coasters. I only want to go once to check it off the list. I'm pretty sure children's services gets involved if you have a middle class salary and don't visit once. Thoughts?
  3. I would get out of CA as soon as possible. A lot of people are, but they're taking the same mindsets and habits with them that wrecked the state. It's mighty suspicious. Regardless, MM seemed like a place with great attractions, but was generally a shithole in 2012 when we went. From the outside looking in, it seems to have grown equally in both areas. There's a slim to none chance of us ever returning.
  4. Did they do some track work to Prowler? I know there used to be a lot of complaints. It's hard to keep up with all of the rapid fire information that comes out in this thread.
  5. It doesn't describe you at all, because nothing says that you not liking something makes you entitled. You shouldn't be expected to like a product. It's the job of Six Flags to find acceptability from the consumer. It's not the consumer's job to be automatically accepting to the product. Organizations throughout the world have convinced the masses that their expectations need to be lower. Businesses, governments, social organizations, etc. It has become sinfull to want more.
  6. I haven't been in this thread since the beginning of July and there are only two unread posts.
  7. Sounds like a business model geared toward lower-middle class 13-17 year olds. Build more marketable shit, and let everything else fall apart. You can make a lot of money from that demographic.
  8. Be honest with yourself. Do you expect it to get any better after the merger?
  9. It's reassuring to know that SFStl's failures are on the corporate level. I told my daughter and it put her at ease. Looking forward to the merger. No one should complain about the carousel not being open. If we look at it from a numbers perspective, a couple more weeks is only a very very very small fraction of time from when it first went down. How's that for positive thinking?
