  1. This is a total win in my book. I love Enterprise rides! I think I'll still favour the old seating over this but that wont stop me enjoying it.
  2. I can't describe how awesome that movie was and spending the extra for IMAX tickets was definately worth it, went to see it again a few days after in the regular theatre and it just wasn't the same, still awesome tho. I'm sure we'll be off to see it again soon. Chris Pratt was just superb but I'd expect nothing less. The dinosaurs were beautiful, those raptors really stole the show for me.
  3. Me and my boyfriend have booked seats for 5pm at our local IMAX on the 11th! Big screen dinos! We've been watching the other three in anticipation (whatever your opinion on the movies, dinosaurs are awesome) and I'm re-reading the books, about a quarter through the Lost World - they're so good! I'm so excited for this movie I've become unbearable to be around.
  4. When you say yes to covering someones shift in work, then totally forget and end up having to rush in without having had food all day and you wont get home 'till 9.
  5. Are there any Scotland -based runners or prospective runners on the forum? I'm needing to get fit again and could do with a running buddy to help me along/shout at me to make me move! I'm jealous of all you fit people!
  6. My boyfriend hates rollercoasters and while discussing potential theme park visits, I got real mad at him and slammed the netbook closed and kicked it off the table. The netbook's not mine, it's my mommas, I only use it because the net connection on it is better than my pc for chatting, (my bf and I are long distance) and now I'm mad at myself for getting mad at him over nothing and potentialy breaking things that aren't mine. I feel like I spend my life apologising.
  7. That's hard. Did you not just move in together recently?
  8. I'm a girl! (who likes boys and girls, for the record) It took me by surprise to discover that too. My big brother's gay and I grew up amongst a number of gay friends, so sexuality has never been an issue for me. I was actally quite far into my teens (16-17 probably) before I discovered it was really an issue anywhere. I guess I was quite a sheltered child. I've never officially come out as bisexual to my family, although most of my friends know. I have a boyfried who seems to enjoy it when I bring up a hot girl. I guess the topic will come up if I ever need it to. It's not like I'm hiding it. I understand how hard it can be for some people and I hope they find supportive friends.
  9. Two great memories from 2010: 1- Dragging my coasterphobic boyfriend to Alton Towers for the day. First stop was Thirteen which I think we both quite enjoyed. He was smiling afterwards anyway! Next up Rita (in the rain - owwie!), he didn't look so impressed in the queue for this - but at least he didn't look scared yet - his face at the breaks was a picture though. So we head along to Air, with me reassuring him "It's ok, this one's gentle." The fear was still on his face as we were boarding but he REALLY liked it! (He even insisted we go back later for another go.) Pleased with his bravery we ventured on Nemesis, my favourite, which he spent the whole time shouting obscenities from the seat beside me while I giggled. He really didn't like that one, which is a shame as I LOVE it. I gave him permission to wuss out of one coaster on the trip, but the only other rides we got on were the river rapids and runaway mine train (both of which he really enjoyed) so I obviously didn't stand my ground so well! He complained he was feeling sick by the time we got close to Sonic, and there was no way I could have pushed him all the way to Oblivion! Despite Jay's fear of anything that straps you in and throws you about a bit, we both had a great day and munched our way through faaar too many Nemesis doughnuts and a fair amount of pizza. Yum! 2- Ok, so M&D's isn't real 'Theme Park' despite what their website insists, my 6 and 7 year oldnieces had great fun there when we took them though. My three younger nephews weren't so enthralled, but there's time yet. I loved taking the girls on the coasters they were tall enough for and making sure their hands were in the air! I think they're definately going to be into the thrill rides, and I can't wait 'till they're big enough to take to somewhere like Alton!
  10. Dragons paint job is so cool! I love it. Also, loving that there are more B&M's in the world!
  11. ^I third that. Don't bother crossing the border!
  12. I have a Nokia 5800 XpressMusic which I'm giving to my boyfriend when I buy a new one. Looked at the N8 and kinda fell in love - Is it as good as it looks?
  13. #1: When work ask you to cover shifts for people on certain days, then call you up the day before asking where you are and insist that they told you that it's TODAY you're meant to be in, not TOMORROW, and get really angry with you because they made the mistake and need you in but you can't go in now, 'cause you've made plans. Stupid work! #2: When your mobile network provider decide to increase your monthly bill by a tenner without even telling you first. Yeah, I'll be switching elsewhere.
