  1. As Robb said, GeForce has two wagons. When they use both, they never send them on the track at the same time. The second train first starts when the first one is already back at the main brake. As it should be. _______________________ By the way! Has anyone noticed the new coaster Holiday Park is getting this spring? If not, here are a few infos. I just noticed it myself on the parks homepage while searching for informations about the GeForce Accident, and I think, its a cool announcement! Holiday Parks' third coaster The name of the family coaster will be "Hollys' Wild Drive" (In German: Holly's Wilde Fahrt"). Height, width and length: 15 x 20 x 40 meters Number of vehicles: 8 vehicles with 4 seats Length of route: approx. 370 meters Duration of ride: approx. two minutes Total area: 800 m² Producer: Maurer Söhne Rides GmbH It will guide the riders through a cartoon-like village and through the forest, the trains will pass several serpentines, humps and drops. That means, the coaster type will be some sort of the "Wild Mouse" developed by Maurer Rides. I expect something like the Volcano Coaster @ Freizeitpark Klotten that all of you should know (According to the TPR video ) Further infos on the parks' homepage
  2. Yes, according to the video, the train stopped at the second camelback, after the first turn. The video says further, that the ride stays closed until the real source of the accident has been found. Multiple guests where slightly injured meaning they suffered contusions etc. All riders on the train also suffered from shock. No wonder.
  3. OMG that's true. Imagine a bursting wheel or something like that on the open track. The horror of every theme park visitor
  4. I love that park. The theming is marvelous, the rides are awesome. It would have been nice if you had commented the photos though. I really cannot wait to go back there, my last visit was last years summer!
  5. Holy cow! This looks pretty dangerous. As far as I know, GeForce has never had an accident since it was opened in 2001! By the way, I wonder why I didn't hear anything about that incident. I just live half an hour away from that orange awesomeness, I can almost see it in the distance at clear sky. However, I just hope, no one was injured..
  6. I kinda hate this place. Really. It's not really a good theme park compared to the other my country has to offer. I visited it once or twice when I was a child, because a few relatives of mine live near it, otherwise I probably would never have visited it or even heard of it. I even didn't like that park back then, really, I have no single good memory. Well yes, the Devils Mine Coaster was awesome as it is for every little boy who doesn't know that there is a place called America. However. I think, it is actually quite boring, if you compare it to other german parks like Europa or Heide Park. Nothing that I have to visit again. 7. Hello TPR! My name is Alex. Usually Alexander, but I hate that long version somehow. I'm 20 years old, and live in the beautiful city of Heidelberg. Also, though I'm german, I love to hear my name in english. It sounds waaay cooler. However, I've been visiting this site permanently since... let me guess. 2007 or so! I never managed to get an account, but then finally decided to. Due to the fact that I am a HUGE coaster enthusiast and that I speak fluent english, I have always been fascinated of this site and all the FUN that you guys have on your trips. I've read so many of the trip reports TPR is posting posted from all over the world. I'd love to follow the Alveys on a few one day! Unfortunately I do not work yet, I'm still a pupil, so this is totally impossible because of the prices. Luckily I love travelling as much as roller coasters and theme parks. So that won't be a problem in case that I really start booking trips one day. My coaster count is unfortunately terrible poor, so poor I don't even want to tell you. Well, I do it anyway. It probably isn't more than 20 or 25 different coasters. But those include a few of the best, like Expedition GeForce, so that adjusts it a little bit I guess I myself think that I am a warm, friendly person that you can have so much fun with. I'm doing a travel assistant education at the moment, including the university entrance diploma. This education will end next year, thereafter I will do a 4 month internship in London. But is all that really interesting? I'm here to have fun and read the newest informations about theme parks and roller coasters! Actually I can barely wait to follow TPR on a trip for the first time - which will happen for sure! I could also imagine to visit the states with TPR. Good night world!
  8. Yes, I'd love to watch RIT RAW in Blu-Ray quality. I do not own a Blu-Ray-Player but they are quite cheap overe here in Germany. So I think I really will buy one in the next few months, christmas at the latest. But the 25 bucks for one dvd are quite much, imo. I understand why you cannot sell them under that price, Robb, but... 25 bucks for a single disc. I don't know.
  9. BlueFire Megacoaster, three days ago. Again it was freaking awesome! Rode it already last year, and it even became smoother!!!
  10. Danke Sören! I'd also love to see Dubai one day. There's no matter why I shouldn't except for the prices...
  11. I got a good quality layout picture here, dunno if it was uploaded yet...? However, here it is:
  12. Hi everyone! I just found some quite aesome news on www.coastersandmore.de! (As the site says, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will be building its first Launch Coaster in 2011, which will also be (as most people probably know) the first ever Launch Coaster for Busch Company. As the website says, the plannings for this new coaster which will NOT be built by Bolliger & Mabillard have already started half a year ago. The unusual long ride (Compared to other rides at Busch Gardens) will be about 1500 meters long, and will offer multiple launch tracks and inversions through the savanna section of the park. Its station will be set in the building of the old Monorail, which will get a new theming. However, there are barely other informations except for a blueprint picture of the layout which can be seen below. The builder as well as the top speeds of the new coaster are yet to be revealed. Sounds promising to me, especially because I really want to visit Busch Gardens Tampa Bay one day Maybe with TPR??? Ahr, I almost forgot... greetings from Germany, I hope I will have an awesome time here!
