  1. In that first picture, Elissa looks like an ACEr!!! Congrats, guys! Hope she brings you more joy than a room full of chocolate pudding!
  2. I'll give you the fact that Xcelerator is a freking awesome ride, but it absolutely blows my mind when people go to Haunt for the rides...It's Haunt...Mazes and shows is what it's all about!
  3. I would say that if money wasn't a big object, go for SFMM. You can get their flash pass for i think it's $15. Just go early, stay late, do everything, be happy!
  4. Knott's Halloween Haunt Friday, Oct. 6 7:00pm-2:00am Jimmy {Me!}, Ryan, Alex Okay so Haunt on friday was AWESOME!!! We got to the park around 6:00pm and went inside and bought some merchandise. While waiting for rope drop {They do it here to} it was great to see all the girls get freaked by the monsters that were coming under the rope. so they dropped it at about 6:30 and we were off to Red Moon Massacre, the Halloween re-do on the log ride, themed to Little Red Riding Hood. It was fun, but since it was early, there wasn't too much talent yet. Across th way, we waited about 10 minutes for the Cavern Of Lost Souls, or the mine ride. Again, not enough talent, but that was okay. Afterwards, we hit Lost Vegas, a walk-on, and this is where I started to get alittle angry. "Collectable 3-D Glasses-$1!" So I bought, and experienced one of my favorite mazes of the night. Cool. So we get around to Bigfoot rapids, and I realize that the vendor sold me glasses from 2005. Ugh. Oh well. We decide to turn around and go see the Hanging. Always an excellent show and always un-Politically correct. "I'm Captain Jack Swallows. I have a very large deck. I have canon balls below me deck. And i absolutely love when people swab me deck..." You get the picture...Anyways, off to the Putz Prank Party and his great idea of prop comedy. Shooting kids with darts and having a giant marshmallow fight with the audience are key ingredients in a haunt show. So after that, we were gonna head over to the Asylum and Feary Tale, but the lines were just horendous, so we turned around and made a big circle through the Boardwalk. We were going to do the Grudge 2 Maze, but that was like a 45 minute wait. So back to the front of the park and Red Beard's Revenge. Always great with people jumpin down at you on bungee cords. Then we went to eat at Lucy's Lunchbox...DO NOT EAT HERE!!! If you do, please don't get the chicken fingers...I had extreme stomach pain for about another hour and a half. So after that, we come to the conclusion that Haunt is at it's peak because the wait to see half-naked vampire chicks in a rave was an hour...On to Terror Vision 3-D. My favorite maze of this year got us back on track for a night of great things. around to 13 Ax Murder Manor. It was alright. Nothing great. But Hatchet High totally impressed me this year. it wasn't crowded so we were continuously moving and I finally got some attention from the talent and it was just great. So then we went to go play some games and got in line for Hacks! The best show to ever come to Haunt. If you guys remember the D.U.H. show at DCA, you'll remember the people that do this improv show...If you want the full, un-censored, adult version of the show, PM me. Otherwise, it had me in tears for a good half of the show. Moving on, it's now 1 O'Clock in the morning and we have 1 hour to do 4 mazes. We ran over and hit Feary Tales, which was my friend Alex's favorite maze this year. After you get out of Feary Tales, they heard you into The Asylum. Crazy people a re fun to hang out with when you're stuck indide crowded hallways...Then The Grudge 2. To quote westcoaster.net, "Much emphasis on the creepy, but little Asian children meowing isn't too scary." So now we've got about 20 minutes and we run over to Lore Of The Vampyre and it was really late so there wasn't too much talent left in the maze. And we could've had time to do Dark Realm with Laser Tag, but we didn't. So then we walked over to McDonald's and I won some medium ries from the Monopoly game and a pocket watch from the drill game and Haunt is freaking great. Go buy your ticket right now. Ahora! Well i seem to have gotten this scroll bar pretty tiny, so I'll let you go now...Bye! _________________
  5. vjgx.....What in the world would make you go to Knott's during the day?! The park is really ghetto-i'm saying this and its my home park. and Haunt doesn't even sell out every night...Some people...
  6. You Lie!!!!!!!!! We go every year on the second friday they do the event, we get there around 6...they have a rope drop type thing, and then they let everybody in-but it was only 6:30, so they let us in the park a half hour early! we were able to hit the log ride and mine ride with no wait, and then went in a counter-clockwise order around the park-we were able to do everything! So, get there early, I'll see you there!
  7. That thing looks like a blast!!!javascript:emoticon(':b') How many 90 degree turns does it have...3?
  8. sooooo...um...what other 50th parades are there? christmas fantasy didn't debut for the 50, the electrical parades been around forever...
  9. So a bunch of my friends and I just got back from a day at DLR and hoarding the little balls that they throw at you at the end of Block Party Bash. And it got me thinking, which 50th parade is better? Walt Disney's Parade Of Dreams or Block Party Bash?
  10. I have to agree with BarryH. I can't believe I forgot my own favorite show! Shows you what grades I get in school. But, D.U.H. is only funny when you get the right people. Frank, Gale, and Mark are the best! Have you seen Corey? I think it's the guy who used to host CHEAT! on G4...
  11. So we just got back from DLR and an awesome new Space Mountain. We saw Aladdin and it got me thinkin' what shows do other people like. I've never been to WDW so I'm not a real big...attraction(?) buff. Post your answers and explain why. I don't think I forgot anything, but if I did, just vote for other and tell which one I missed.
  12. I have to agree with Eric on rule #3. One time, while my mom & I were in line for Xcelerator, there was this group of guys maybe 17-18. The guy said that a fat lady fell out of the car at the very top of the top hat. Then she landed on the 2nd overbank where the ride ran her over. Everyone remember that period of time when Xcelerator got the fat people gauges? They said that that incindent caused the overhaul. He had Perilous Plunge & Xcel mixed up. Me and my mom laughed.
  13. Yeah, I'm 14. My parents don't have $$$ to burn on Halloween Horror Nights in FLORIDA!!! Does Anyone have info on Halloween Haunt This year? Now that I can make it 2. Jimmy "Wishes he could go to HHN 15" Ford
  14. Okay, I'm back for part 2. After Buzz, we went to Autopia. It was a 45 minute wait. This was the longest wait we saw all day, but we FasstPassed it. We went to the Matterhorn. Can I just say, they need FastPass for this attraction. I mean, they could have FastPass on one side and stand-by on the other! I think they should really consider this. Anyway, it was the Matterhorn and I can't say much more. So that took the perfect amount of time for our FastPasses to be valid. We waited about 10 minutes. I checked my driver's liscense and so did my mom. But her's was a winner. So afer we went by and picked up our little car. It was sort of like a little Mother's Day gift from the resort. So I guess that was pretty special. Then we went on the Mad Tea Party. Waited for the gold tea cup and then staked out our positions for the Parade of Dreams. This parade is awesome with a captal A. The floats are just out of this world. My personal favorite was the Lion King float. It had the rhino in the front of all the people on stilts and when it stops, Walt gives the opening line of his famous speech. "To all who come to this happy place,"; at this point, all of the performers freeze and there's a dramatic pause. "Welcome" All of a sudden, everybody springs into action. The birds spin, the performers on stilts jump, and the bungie girls bungie. After the 5 minute splurge of fun, the concession moves farther along the parade root. So, we FastPassed Splash Mountain and went and rode the Haunted Mansion. This attraction has my favorite hidden 50 out of all of them. It's a giant spider web right above the door. Then we went and saw the Tiki Room. People must've been on crack to come up with this thing, but with the new AA's and all, it was pretty good. But 2 words sum it up. Dole Whip. It had come time for our FastPass at Splash Mountain, but we arrived only to find the ride broken down. We grabbed a piece of tiger butter fudge and FasstPassed BTMR. My mom was hungry again so we took a seat at the Golden Horseshoe and ate some motzarella strips. When we finished we went to BTMR and rode. We got off and still saw no logs going down the big drop on Splash, so we hit pirates. 10 minute wait. Kind of boring at the end, but entertaining. Finally, Splas was open. We used our FastPasses and I recieved the front seat. I was glad to see that they were using the back seat again. So...I got soaked, plain and simple. We left Splash just in time to catch the parade again. We left as the Monorail passed over our heads and we headed back to the tram. But getting home was a whole other story. So we originally had gone through Harbor Boulevard to park in the lot, not the parking structure. But they had re-directed us to the parking structure. No biggie. I think of it as there aren't going to be a lot of people ther today. So first we go up the wrong escalator. Then we have to find our car. That was a 15 minute ordeal. We finally find the exit, and my mom doesn't want to go on the freeway, so we almost get in a major acident. My mom gets in the left hand turn lane and the light finally turns green. She makes a freakin' U-Turn back into the parking structure! Seriously, I'm not making this up. By the time we got out of the resort, the fireworks were going off and we finally made it home around 10:15. So our Mother's day at DLR was pretty exciting. I was kind of sad about not being able to see Block Party Bash, but I can't complain. I hope to be back ther soon to see the re-opening of Space Mountain. Yup.
  15. SPOILER WARNING!!!!! IF YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE THE 50 ON YOUR OWN, TURN BACK NOW!!!!! So, Mother's Day was Sunday. Me & my mom decided to head to Disneyland to check out the 50 anniversary. We thought that if it were too crowded, we could always just leave, since we are APs. We arrived at about...9:30. We stopped in front of the park and my mom picked up her pink carnation. Originally, we had wanted to walk right through the castle, but that was not possible, due to the tappings of Live With Regis & Kelly. Wahhhhhhhh! Anyway, we checked out the wait at Buzz. 35 minutes and we decided to FastPass it. Our return time was for 12:30. We went and checked out the First 50 Magical Years. I have to admit, the model where the White House used to be was remarkable. The film , IMO, was mediocre, although it made my mom tear up. So we checked out Indy after the show concluded. Great ride, and it was only a 20 minute wait. We couldn't pass it up. We got off of Indy and I heard a deep boom coming from the Jungle cruise. Naturally, we decided to check it out. 15 minutes. Not bad. But the first thing that caught my eye was the sign on the right wall of the entrance building that says this in big, bold print. YOU MAY GET WET. I point it out to my mom who is NOT a big water ride fan, but we head on in. As luck would have it, we boarded the freshly painted gold Congo Queen. The first noticable thing for an AP is that Bob, the idol, has been moved forward and kind of cut out of the script. Next, the animals on the rock looking towards the dead zebra had been removed. But we cary on. All of a sudden, there's a gigantic explosion in the middle of the water. Everybody in the front of the boat got wet. We were in the back left. At the scene where the monkies have taken over camp, there is now a monkey with a gun and a monkey with a couple sticks of dynamite!!! The monkey with the gun shoots at you as you pass by the camp, while the monkey with dynamite throws 2 sticks, one in front of the boat, and one just after you leave. But that's not all. Remember the dangerous river rapids, right before Trader Sam? Yeah, well there are no longer dangerous river rapids. Instead, your guide informs that we are now entering piranha infested waters. After you pass the boa H-I-S-S-I-N-G in the tree, a bunch of piranhas swarm the boat. It basically gives everryone on the left side of the boat a shower. There's a new Trader Sam AA and the ride is over. We went to eat at Rancho del Zocalo. This was a somewhat unpleasent experience. There was a clump of hair in my burrito. So our meal was free. We used our FastPasses at Buzz and my score was 1,038,000. #1 for the rest of the day. BooYa! I have to go to dinner with my parents so I'll finish the rest of this later. See Ya'll.
