  1. The coaster is complete! Here's the final two videos. The second one is for all the nerds (like me) who just like to watch it cycle unedited and uninterrupted.
  2. That looks pretty impressive, but hard to get a really good look in 9 seconds!
  3. The construction is complete! Check out how I did sone of the voice overs and custom soundtrack. And check back next week for the most elaborate model coaster POVs you have ever seen!
  4. Model is complete! Check out the final video, along with a GoPro POV. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
  5. ^Thanks! Final update before the big video. Trackwork is complete and the coaster is functional!
  6. Completed the track for the two corkscrews (still need to finish up the weird supports though). Getting really close to completion! [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
  7. Small update today - moving the coaster to it's "permanent" location.
  8. Working on the hill after the loop. Still getting used to working with the tube supports. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
  9. On to the loop! Hopefully this will be the last update before I move the whole thing outside. Also, tube supports are REALLY HARD to build!
  10. Construction is progressing. The structure is pretty hard to get right, but I'm still building much more quickly than usual. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
  11. I went to Japan with TPR last October. I was inspired to build a recreation while wandering around Himeji Central Park. I'll post an actual construction update tomorrow, but you can see what the real thing looks like in this video - plus the moment when the idea for this popped into my head! Also, I never realized how TOGO track is probably the most similar thing to the K'nex coaster track in the real world. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
  12. Almost at the end of this long construction. Just fixing up some final issues.
  13. ^I 100% will release a POV. One of my friends is actually 3d printing a special K'nex coaster train so the footage comes out better. But in the meatime . . . I'm finally getting back into the construction. Hopefully I'll finish soon. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
  14. Wow. I just rode it in July. Back then I thought felt super sketchy but in a fun exciting way. Definitely will make me think twice now. And they weren't letting anyone ride in the back car - which seems like the one that derailed first.
