  1. If it is going to be a coaster my guess is an Intamin family friendly spinning coaster like tornado at bakken ( http://rcdb.com/4313.htm ). It is the only coaster design I can think of that would be likely and that they would have time to build?
  2. I never caught on to what Paula was trying to say/hint at with "gnu ride"...any ideas or am I just mentally challenged an it is obvious?
  3. Or they could just build a water park in the park that seems to be the answer to low attendance at some other parks lately. I would think that with the low asking price that would be feasible? And would really add value to the park.
  4. Is it just me or do the supports slightly look "outdated"? They kind of remind me of an arrow!
  5. Probably because it was a bad episode. If someone grew up with no human interaction, thus never learning any language, could that person think to oneself.
  6. Wow I knew that a lot of people on here were young but I did not realize that over half of them weren't even able to vote! I am 21 and the first coaster that I rode (not counting the little fair coasters) was the Raven at holiday world the first year it opened in 1995. I was seven back then and I remember riding it with my grandparents.
  7. So from the POV of Eagle's Fortress it looks like it's just going down hill the entire ride and only gaining speed in the process. That thing looks awesome!
  8. Great trip report!!! this just makes me want to catch the next flight to Orlando! So for a $150 dollar camera, it did pretty good. Especially with the night shots even the ones without the tripod. What camera did you use?
  9. I also doubt that they put the new woody in psyclone's old location because aren't there rumors that six flags plans on closing that section of the park if they ever get rid of deja vu???
  10. This is where Blue flash is at. http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=38.781157,-87.466884&spn=0.001292,0.002511&t=h&z=19 It is hard to tell it's there but living close to it I can tell that it is the place. You can only really make out the blue shed it uses as a lift hill.
  11. Thanks that is very useful information. Probably will be going at the end of summer. I start school back up on the 20th of august so maybe that week before. But since you live around there would that be a good time or would going a month before or any time in between that be better. Because if that is the week before public schools open up then that would probably be bad for us, but if schools have already started then that would be great.
  12. yeah it is backtracking since we are coming from Indiana, but if we could do Dorney in just a half a day it would be worth it. Going to china would be great but I like coaster more!
  13. Well I remember being in 5th grade and in that class we read these little four page world news type things and in it, it had a piece about millennium force and how it was going to be the tallest coaster in the world and how it was taller than the statue of liberty. (and I think somewhere I may still have this paper) then that next day I went home and told my dad that I wanted to ride this and he had agreed. (Before this point all I had ridden coaster wise was BGT and the raven at HW. That same year my older sister took me to Kings Island.) But just to show how stupid of a non coaster enthusiast I was when we got to Cedar Point before we rode MF I was angered that it didn’t have any inversions in it. Then I rode it and that didn’t matter---I fell in love. That next year I learned of ThePointOL.com and got hooked to the forums and kind of watched them build Wicked Twister and I wasn’t too impressed and didn’t go that year. The next year I read through all the rumors on TTD and was then truly addicted to the forums and became a true rollercoaster enthusiast. The rest is history. lol
  14. So is Dorney a half day park on weekends too or is that pushing it? I also will buy a Cedar Fair season pass May 20 when I go to Cedar Point and I already have a Six flags season pass from last year so at those type of parks I’m not worried about price, but if I could go to Dorney on a weekend and head to Hershey that same night get an hour or two at that park and finish up that next Sunday that would give me the next five days to hit up the busier parks on the week days.
