  1. Can agree with what was said earlier. Easily the best coaster in the state now. Just an absolutely amazing ride from start to finish... Got rides in the front and the back today. From the moment you drop offf the lift to the brakes, it is just unrelenting... The raven truss... The zero-g.... The outward banked turn is probably one of the most intense they've done... and then you get this airtime on the double up, and stupid ejector off that drop before the barrel roll over the arcade... but I think my favorite moment is that roll after the turnaround before you come back over the arcade.... The amount of snap on that is absolutely insane and it's just perfection... What a ride... Fun Spot definitely has a winner on their hands... Now they can start to build around it.
  2. considering the winds we've had down here today, that's a heck of a feat.
  3. Still cannot believe that this kind of RMC is coming to a park only an hour away from me lol.
  4. Ha. Nah, one season was enough for me to decide that wasn't the job for me... but it was pretty neat to see how things are run from the back end.
  5. When I worked there last year, I heard plenty of rumblings and rumors about what the plan is for this portion of the park... Be patient with it, this is gonna be part of a multi year project, but I know I'm immensely excited to see what's coming here.
  6. saw in my facebook feed a couple days ago that the old mine tunnel by the train station has been removed.
  7. "Major" some would ask if a family coaster is a major attraction.... I mean it's a rather large one, judging by the layout, but I'm not sure this is the "major" they meant or not.
  8. You're missing one of the builders they've worked with.. 2 of em actually.
  9. I had seen on here that it could be a MACK launch coaster. I can confirm it is not MACK. It is, however a coaster manufacturer that Dollywood has worked with, and is VERY happy with. Take that as you will. Also demolition work is ongoing to slidewinder. The main building and most of the ride have been demolished over the past couple of weeks.
  10. I'm not entirely sure this is a test...... this might be a legit new coaster going somewhere....
  11. It was yesterday, but it is getting close to reopening... they were shooting for yesterday, but that didn't quite work out. They were testing it again though. Maybe today???
  12. I didnt mean Wild Eagle. Eagle has been working fine since they fixed it.
  13. Yes, if you look through the past several days of ride openings and closures, it's (and I don't mean Eagle) down again. yep.
