  1. Park 2021 update https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wVtnFzlBebg
  2. Dark ride rumor https://www.screamscape.com/html/dollywood.htm#2021
  3. Festival of Nations is my favorite and I really hope it comes back in 2022. I would guess they are still planning operations under Covd conditions, but it just a guess
  4. 2021 * Dollywood’s Flower & Food Festival – April 23 – June 7 • Dollywood’s Summer Celebration – June 25 – July 31 (Fireworks Fridays & Saturdays) • Dollywood’s Harvest Festival – September 24 – October 31 Featuring – GREAT Pumpkin LumiNights • Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas – November 6 – January 2
  5. Screamscape has an odd rumor https://www.screamscape.com/html/dollywood.htm#LightningRod2

  7. I am hoping to go in December. I saw this video predicting the next 5 years of Dollywood. With my hours reduced, I am looking forward to a " Better Day" Ahead . I am hoping for a better year. Even if the video is wrong, its fun to discuss Video Predictions: 2021 Most likely no expansion/new rides 2021-2022 Interactive Dark Ride or Flying Theater. Most likely 2022 2023 B & M Hyper Coaster or Mac Spinner 2024 Water Park new Ride/New Shop 2025 Wildwood Grove Part II maybe including a Vekoma Launched Flying Coaster
  8. If you stay in Sevierville you can save some money. October can be tough as the leaves are changing and the town in busy. It also depends if you can go during the week or have to go on the weekend. I've had good luck at the Comfort Inn on Dollywood Lane, it is centrally located and a decent hotel. The Sleep Inn on the Parkway in Sevierville has been nice at a good price, but it is further away from the more touristy areas
  9. According to Screamscape the park will be closed Tuesday-Thursday beginning August 11 https://www.screamscape.com/html/dollywood.htm
  10. We were there when the doors opened and the restaurant was empty so I may have misinterpreted
  11. I did want to make a comment on the reduced capacity at restaurants. A lot actually are doing this, they've just removed tables unlike a lot of places that place signs on the table not to use. An example of this is old reds. They normally have double the amount of tables they have right now. When they remove tables completely, it gives a look like you aren't reducing capacity but really are Sent from my GM1915 using Tapatalk The upstairs at the pancake pantry was closed, but downstairs tables were as packed in as ever Calhouns and monster burgers had some Tables off limits.
  12. Was just in the area for a week. Very few people are wearing masks. Some of the attractions were giving out masks and asking people to wear them and most people refused to wear masks. Lots were thrown on the ground. Only a few businesses were requiring them. Some restaurants were reducing capacity some were not. Lots of signs posted asking for compliance with social distancing but no enforcement that I saw. Staff at most businesses were wearing masks.
  13. My daughter is graduating and obviously with everything going on there is a lot of graduation activities she does not get to participate in. I was wondering if anybody knew of any Dollywood 2020 graduation merchandise that’s available or will be available when the park reopens. Thanks.
  14. Tennessee opens more businesses https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.wate.com/news/tennessee/coronavirus-in-tennessee-state-issues-guidelines-for-bowling-alleys-mini-golf-arcades-dance-classes/amp/. Still no word on amusement parks
