  1. Seriously, these statements are really getting on my nerves. How in the world is Griffon similar to Sheikra when not only it is taller, but it also has one more inversion. The layouts of both of the rides are completely different. Not to mention the fact that Griffon is two rows wider and doesn't have a floor.
  2. I believe those trains are so brightly colored to distinguish how large they are to the onlooking public. I love those colors myself.
  3. I just got back also.. Alpie and Apollo were closed and open throughout the day do to the cold. I was hoping Griffon would test but aparently it wasnt ready yet. Hopefully it will this week at the media interview.
  4. New photos were updated today. I am pissing my pants http://www.buschgardensnews.com/061211_Griffon_Construction_Web/default.html
  5. What about the station floors, like someone said earlier, they are way too wide to just flip down like Scream or Medusa, unless you had a station that was about 30 feet off the ground.
  6. Stop calling it a clone, this ride will blow Sheikra out of the water.
  7. Hey Kennywood007, Dont stay up till 12:01, their gonna anounce it around 11:30 am.
  8. im curious to what a dive machine's station looks like.
  9. Busch never clones their coasters, Griffon should be 205 feet plus (using the landscape of BGE), not to mention adding a new dimension to the DM.
  10. I was at Busch Gardens Europe yesterday, July 7th, and when we just entered the park and were walking through England. My dad asked me a question about the new maps. An employee overheard my dad and he told us that we got the new maps due to the closing of Le Man's. Of course we had to ask him about this new ride and he told us that it will be fifty feet higher than Alpengeist, making it two hundred and forty five feet. He also stated that this attraction will be flat out awesome. He said that we should go look at the teaser board because it will provide a clue. I am guessing that the clue is the talon. Hopefully we will have a 245 foot dive machine.
