    • Um......Albatross? Anyway... What an awesome trip this turned out to be, for you! And - all - that - food! Great choices, I'd say.  🍽️
    • Keeping WB was always a pipe dream.    The only thing I could see is a targeted Loony Tunes-only license. And only because Cedar Flags might decide they want to use Peanuts as the sole kids IPs. Alternatively they make a deal to sell the Peanuts license to Enchanted. It truly doesn’t make sense for Cedar Flags to have both. That’s the part of the merger that’s always been a question mark IMO. It doesn’t make sense to have both.
    • I think they'd be just as likely to use it as leverage to drive up the cost of an EPR contract. If they cut ties with WB now, it may cost more to retheme the rides now but save them money in the long term. They're already going to have to retheme a ton of rides, so they might as well rip the Band-Aid off now. I don't foresee them keeping WB.
    • The only issue would be if Six Flag's agreement with WB is for exclusive rights to the characters in North American parks.  If that is the case, Six Flags will argue that they should pay less for their contract if other parks are allowed to compete with the same characters in North America and likely sue for breach of contract unless they were compensated for the loss of exclusivity.  If that amount is too large, and EPR/Enchanted Parks don't make up the difference then WB may decline a new contract with WPR/Enchanted and stay loyal to Six Flags.
    • Just got back from Friday and Saturday in the park. First time there in 15 years! So, was excited to get some new credits.  Overall, great trip.  Hot take- park guests dont know how to board rides! Dispatch times where terrible at times because people don't know how to walk, sit, buckle and stow their stuff! The grouper (if there was one) had their work cut out explaining loose articles on some rides. Anyone else notice this? Is this the new norm?  Also, lots of line cutting. However, later Saturday I noticed "screeners" in the lines. The one at Copperhead Strike deserved a raise. She crushed it stopping cutting and keeping people off rails. I missed her name, but WAY TO GO!  We enjoyed the park, even with 60 minute waits, that's not bad to top tier coasters.
    • Rode Quantum twice yesterday. It's a nice family ride! I liked my ride in back as the trains are kind of long and get some zing around some of the corners.  That said, the capacity on this thing is going to be as miserable as advertised. Every time a train leaves the station, the gates at the front and the rear of the station have to open. The gates at the rear of the station take forever to actually get fully open. Then when the next train pulls in, the gates have to shut and by the time they do, the first train is already through the second launch and then they can finally unlock the restraints. And it may only be 16 people per train but it takes a long time to get those 16 people situated and verified as the restraints are El Toro-level restrictive. Saw many walks of shame yesterday. This is going to be a popular ride and the waits are going to be massive on busy days.  Otherwise, the park seems to be a little slower to get up to snuff than past years operationally. Flashback and GCG were not ready to start the season. Superman, Riddler, and Wicked Cyclone all on one train and the second trains on all of them are not even on the transfer track yet. That said, everything that was open seemed to be running well. Wicked Cyclone always terrific with the cold season wheels. Superman running like it's midseason. Also got on Pandemonium, Thunderbolt, and an extremely terrifyingly windy ride on Skyscreamer which never ran again the rest of the night after I rode it. Dinner at JBs was...bad. And it's a shame because it was always excellent by Six Flags standards. Inedible pulled pork. Cold Mac and cheese. Rock solid fries. Sad to see. Overall a fun evening, good to see Quantum finally come to life!
    • This still goes back to Zach's point of who cares.  we don't know how tall this thing is going to be or what else it will do but not much since they said its already 60% complete
    • This is how The Beast was created.  I see no problems.
    • Engineered as opposed to carpenters just winging it with the skill saw?
    • I'd almost take that over the discourse on Reddit which mostly claims that it's a horrible waste of space because it's not as tall/fast as Kingda Ka was and because it's a shuttle and the "capacity will be horrible" as if this park gets the crowds it did in the early 2000s.
    • NOT SO FAST! The upside down launch has spawned Facebook chaos with the question of should launches while in motion continued to be called "launches," or are they technically "boosts?" People were going at it. Full ChatGPT and Google shots fired. I stayed in character with my response of, "Who the fuck cares?"   Give it time. It's only been close to two years.......
    • I'm so jaded that part of me wants everything related to the SF franchise memory burned to the ground, but the Loony Tunes nostalgia would be nice. Dumpster all of the comic book shit, though.
    • I went on opening day and had fun! I got to meet Bugs, Daffy, Sylvester, Tweety, Porky, and Petunia all at the same time! Also, I participated in the Safari Dance Party show for a bit while my mom was getting lunch. Nitro rules as always, and Battle for Metropolis needs to stop stacking. And I did the safari and saw the animols. I wanna stay at Savannah Sunset, but it's like, $1000 for one guest. Any discounts you know of?
    • I hope Enchanted Parks are in talks with WB like they said. Surely they can manage to work out the contract, right?
