Day 15: Gardaland

Oh, joy...it's a ride called "Magic Mountain."  With a name like that, how could this be bad?

Magic Mountain is a Vekoma corkscrew.  I mean, what ELSE did you think a ride called Magic Mountain could be!

"Hey Joey...how many trains are they running on Magic Mountain?"

"Well in true Magic Mountain style, they are running *one*.  They were running two, but they saw how long the line was and decided to reduce
capacity to keep within the "Magic Mountain" theming!

It looks like there is a storm approaching so I hope we can get on this damn thing!

Here at Gardaland they also use that ridiculous red light/green light turnstile system.  But at least here they have a
counter for how many seats are left.

Here is why the system doesn't work.  There are 9 seats left, but there's a group of 10 at the front.  Of course they all want to ride
together as it must be some cult ritual to ride next to each other.  If they can't find anyone, 9 seats go empty!!!  It causes tons of chaos,
line jumping, and constant low capacity.  I'm actually in shock that Six Flags Magic Mountain hasn't installed this system all over the park!!!

It pretends to be pretty, but it really just kind of sucks!

At least the gift shop had typical "Magic Mountain" paraphernalia on sale!
