This looks exquisite! I now have yet another reason for going to Florida to visit my cousin!

At the very end of the second clip. If you peer behind the tree and pause it right before the video turns white you can see a vertical or near vertical section of track looks like that first 2nd launch will go up straight up into that figure 8 element.

^I went through the video frame by frame and couldn't find the element you mentioned. Could you get a screen grab of it then outline the part your talking about? If it's not too much trouble.

Oh yeah, there is something behind that tree. They are being very tricksy with this stuff. So much thought is being put into every little step. It is cool though... gives us all something to talk about instead of guessing. I love the little updates.

I was thinking about the launch speed...I think it will be anywhere between 70-75 mph since that is the real speed of a cheetah.

^A real cheetah needs 30-60 minutes rest after chasing it's prey.

You shouldn't look and things are literally.

Perhaps they won't allow you to re-ride for 30-60 minutes after your initial ride. In which case his statement would then become valid again.

Hilarious. I said this meaning that it maybe could be incorporated as some sort of theme. I could see Busch releasing a statement saying "The initial launch of the ride will be 75 mph, just like running the speed of a real cheetah while it chases down it's prey.

Didn't they say in one of their teaser videos something about it going 0-60mph?

On the previous page, someone answers this question and posts a descriptive picture, so check back a page. It is the 'figure 8' element that will be after the second launch and will be heavily themed.

^He's talking about the track that goes over the track shown in the 2nd video, not the track behind the tree. Unless I'm mistaken, that track is part of the 1st video clip, immediately after that launch.

This is the section of track in question from the 2nd video.

As you can see in this shot from the 1st video, the section of track in question is the climb after the launch in the first video. I've also pointed out the track from the 2nd video for reference. Hope that helps!

I figured that.. if you just look at the background of both videos you can plainly see that they are the same distances of track in opposite directions.

im not talking about either. There is a straight vertical piece that shows up 4 seconds into the video that isnt behind the tree or a support. Kind of looks like a tall light post or something. I was just wondering.

I see what you're talking about, but I don't know what it is. It just looks like a stick in the ground in the distance. It could be a tree or a light post. But I'm not sure at all.

Today, Colin and I had the chance to visit Busch Gardens Tampa Bay to take part in the Howl-O-Scream media day. During this fantastic event, we were given a brief taste of what this year's event has to offer--sheer thrills and scares, brought on by the new leading lady, Slyvie of the hit band, myX.

Special thanks to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay for providing us with some excellent preview photos from this year's previews, and for putting together a truly spectacular event for everyone. The official photos will be posted first, followed by photos we took during our day at the park and during the preview event.

At the entrance of the event gate (typically the Nairobi Passholder Entrance), signs prominently feature this year's houses and shows.

The most unique addition to this year's Howl-O-Scream lineup comes in the form of "Alone," a brand new house concept meant to pluck guests out of the comfort of a group walkthru, forcing them to go it alone (or with a small group of no more than three accompanying) through the maze.

Here are the "deets."

It looks like we'll be served a modern take on the classic tale of the Minotaur. Should be interesting!

The house in the Ubanga Banga bumper cars enclosure seems ready for tomorrow.
