Dailey Enterprizes
Okay, there's just so much going on in this photo. I think it also deserves one of those "pointless medals." I was thinking the same thing. A cute girl and domo racing each other. It seems strangely wrong yet sexy. I loved this whole TR of the Mid America tour. Someday, someday I will be on one of these things... I hope.

robbalvey
Sounds like Wild Thing and Renegade were running a lot better for you guys than during my visit 10 days earlier. Most of us found Wild Thing to be best in the front car. Renegade ran "ok" during the day, but OMFG *great* at night!

timberskara
It's been great following you all as you hit up some of my most treasured parks in my old stomping grounds. Looks like it was truly a great trip! Just one question...did anyone actually try cheese curds? It's definitely a "Minnesota thing," but they really are tasty, I swear ! fatdaddy
Dan "What in the HELL is poutine? Is that like poontang in food form?" Smith Thats just nasty, I think thats one of the snack flavors that Doritos rejected. ^I don't know what poutine is, but we can only hope it's that... we can only hope. Dude, when they say you eat...or if you go...when you give a girl...It's not food ok, congratulations on being 14.
cal1br3tto
^Are all Morgans best in the front? I find Mamba to be best in the back. Personally, I believe in the "Morgan ejector seat", which is 1-3 like Magnum. They seem to have more intense airtime in that row. Then again, I don't suppose I could prove it. Has anyone else experienced this?
Porsmond
Sounds like you had another great trip, I visited all those parks you visited on an ECC american trip back in 2008, Loved all the parks I went too and I really enjoyed it. We were lucky to ride Hades at Mt Olympus on the day we went, there was a few problems with the ride, and it broke down before our ERS and was down that night and the morning after we were there, the park gave us the 2 other woodies for ERS, quite a good ride I thought but a little brutal, loved the tunnel section, you cant even feel the insane bit of track when it goes complety on its side. Other highlights I have was doing the Cave Tour at Silver Dollar City, amazing, everyone should do it once. Holiday World for giving us great behind the scenes tours of the coasters and just randomly testing them so we could get great photos. Indiana Beach for giving us about 2hrs ERS on all their coasters combined(amazing) and the highlight was surely ending the trip at Valleyfair, a really lovely park with a superb signiture ride in Renegade, loved it. VF7
I was really glad Wild Thing was running great that day, they usually trim it to death. I'm glad everyone enjoyed the park, eventhough the park was really crowded for VF standards.

traincrossin
^Yup, the lift hill piece was still there. There were also freight trucks by it so they might have shipped it off that day along with the trains. I have a picture, i'll post it soon. MiAdventureMan87
Dan, those Excalibur trains are also on Gemini at CP, and also get the "Fat Guy Approved" stamp because they are probably the only trains in the Cedar Fair chain that absolutely EVERYONE will fit in. Cheese Curds are bits of cheese or cheese product or whatever. They are very popular in the UP of Michigan as well, and we get loads of them on our Deer (Beer) Camp trips every August. I personally don't like them, but the guys with our group usually go through about 10 bags the whole week!

dj snow
Since the trip is over I'd just like to share how happy I am that TPR was able to make it to the City Museum for one glorious night. It was great to see everyone having such a great time and accumulating interesting battle scars. I want to go back right now—who's with me? Thanks for making it happen, Robb & Elissa. Fun times! Erik Johnson
Today officially starts the "IntimidaTOUR" trip! The goal is simple - start with one Intimidator and end with the other! Oh, and we'll hit a couple of parks in between. Our first stop - Carowinds! Remember, you can follow this trip LIVE on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/robbalvey Today was a travel day for the IntimidaTOUR, and after a long drive from Richmond we ended up at the Tilted Kilt near Carowinds. For those of you who don't know, Tilted Kilt is like a "Scottish Hooters." This is the first time Robby and Tyler have ever seen cleavage! This is the party table! Steve is our "Designates driver!" This is the wannabe party table. Divv approves of the Scottish girls... And all the girls approve of Scottish Divv! Tim Danner just came in his pants. Tilted Kilt is a hit with TPR!!! Now that's hot. This is the most action Colin will get in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013..... Happiest moment of Neil's life. Wings, beer, boobs, and nerds. Picture speaks for any caption I can make. Divv was the girls favourite...as usual. IntimidaTOUR has officially begun!!! TPR's snack exchange has begun! Canadian M&Ms! Molasses cookies, anyone? Snacks from the UK, Canada, Scandinavia, and all over the USA. Oooh!!! Cheerwine! Time to geek out on the laptop and do this update! Carowinds is next! The view from our hotel... Theme Park Review is in TWO states at once at Carowinds!!! IntimidaTOUR has NOW officially begun! The IntimidaTOUR has ERT on Intimidator!!! TPR excitement on Intimidator!!! Even Snoopy loves Intimidator! TPR gets a little wacky on Intimidator! Intimidator aka I-232! Gentlemen! Start your engines!!! TPR loves me some B&M hyper! Robby is a huge NASCAR fan! B&M empty train shot! If you like B&M hypers you'll love Intimidator! He inspires me. Mmmm...twisty goodness! Thank you Carowinds for awesome ERT to start off the InimidaTOUR trip! The official IntimidaTOUR shirt! NASCAR love! And for MORE B&M fun on Afterburn! (aka Top Gun) You guys ready to get inverted? Loop de Loop!!! Here's one for the wheel cover dorks. ZERO GEEEE! Ride on!!! Yay! Carowinds is a Coke Park! Now it's time for some credit whoring!!! Fly! Sad and pathetic people, FLY!!! Here's a photo for Larry. I like how they show the picture of the satellite dish to avoid any confusion. Another Larry photo. Whoring out the kiddie woodie. And now for the ultimate credit whoring of the day... Paying KidTums $100 per ride on the Kiddie Coaster!!! She made about $900 riding the coaster today! Now for the Boo Blasters challenge! Highest score wins a prize! If you haven't ridden Boob Blasters with 3-D glasses then you haven't ridden Boob Blasters. TPDave has turned into NASCARDave! It's only a Vekoma. Oooh! Pretty Vekoma loops! Hooray for new Boomerang trains! All Boomerangs should have sexy new trains. Today will be a day full of vertical loops. Here's one on Vortex... Wild twinscest on the mouse!!! "The world is a carousel of color..." Vertical loop in Cyclone. "Gimme those damn cookies mutt!" KidTums: swing enthusiast! Ouch! The average weight of most ACE members. We bounced all the way through both sides of Thunder Road! The Flyers got a new name. Very nice make over! What a great idea! They sell you a digital version of your onride photo on a USB flash drive and to add another photo from a different ride onto it, it's just another $5. It's only a Vekoma! The Sky Tower gives you a great birds eye view of the park. There's Afterburn. And take a look at Intimidator! Take a look at Vortex. The Carolina's State Line! At lunch, Bryn (who was responsible for setting up our awesome day) announced the winners of the Boo Blasters challenge... The winners will get COASTER PARTS!!! Our grand prize winner took this awesome piece of Vekoma. Second place gets a Ricochet brake pad. Bart Kinzel, General Manager of the park, and Jerry Helms, Director of Operations, gave us some history of the park and answered our questions. C88.bmp After lunch, Steve Jackson took us on a backstage tour of Intimidator. We walked back through the secret entrance! And trough the secret door under the station. Look! We are UNDER Intimidator!!! There's Intimidator. The water dummies seem to be in a very interesting position! They really should give them back. Why weren't these two invited to the party? Porn for coaster dorks! When it comes to coaster wheels...Robb is a bottom. Steve took us into the control room for Intimidator. This system controls every part of the coaster... ...the proxy sensors, block system, lift motor, etc is all controlled from this room. Help! I'm trapped and the control system is eating my torso!!! Harnesses for when someone climbs the lift hill. We got to see BLUEPRINTS!!! B&M track design. If you're an engineering geek and know what this is...
