So on Sunday June 13th, Cameron, Nathan (Kumba830), Griffin (GriffyTiffy), his Mama, and I went to Indiana Beach and had a smashing time! Most of the park is over water, which makes all the rides 100 times better. I don't have much to say right now, so let's get on to the video and pictures?

My Indiana Beach music video! A little treat for anyone who views the page

Hoosier Hurricane was a lot more fun then I thought it would be, better than Cornball.

I've grown onto these Falling Stars in the last 2 years, they're lots of fun!

Not the best splash battle, actually, it was pretty awful. But I still liked it for it's ghetto-ness!

Not sure if you can see it well, but something's there! Good-bye Indiana Beach! Till next time. (And thanks for reading everyone!)

Dayum, that is one ghetto control box on Galaxi

IB does look like a very nice park, sucks to hear HH doesnt have a lot of air though, it certainly looks like it could provide a lot!

Steel Hawg looks pretty good too, if the trim wasn't there you'd probably be getting insane air time on that drop.

Adam, the one mini golf course near Ideal Beach is included, but not Island Golf, which is in Hurricane's turn around. Great Pictures! Indiana Beach is my home park for 8 months out of the year (I go to Purdue). I'd be glad to be anybody's interpreter there as things can be very confusing there. Did you by chance go in Frankenstein's Castle? I absolutely LOVE IT!

Okay, so I am on my mini Wisconsin Dells trip, and today (July 24th) I went to Noah's Ark and had an amazing time! The water slide collection is fantastic! Lots of family rafts, countless tube slides, 2 wave pools, and 2 lazy rivers. The only thing that this park lacks are high speed body slides (Only the Scorpion's Tail and the other speed slide are the only ones here...) As I don't know what to say now, let's get onto the pictures!

1.jpg.949b42cfe1b74b47fb61c1ab1cdb9e8e.jpg

Here are some of the tube slides offered in the park. Although they don't do much, they did seem to have the shortest waits!

2.jpg.f0ba9fbf31b7dfb94c109c1ad1a92725.jpg

This is Dark Voyage, the totally enclosed family raft. It didn't do much either, but the layout was pretty mysterious!

3.jpg.0e71accb60e8049eda7e8dad9c00dbb8.jpg

Okay, on the far right is Time Warp, which I didn't have a chance to ride... The line exceeded over an hour. On the left are the Bermuda Triangle slides. MY OH MY! I've never had more of an out of control feeling on anything like that before! I recommend riding them whenever you get a visit!

4.jpg.3e810694f7099f38517ebdf2c923d9f4.jpg

Time Warp did look awesome, but the line was just too long to be worth it. It does have a steep drop into the toilet bowl though ;)

6.jpg.8c10f4969db360547e14a6149e3e5c9a.jpg

I do apologize if trees are in the way of my photos. Many of the slides are pretty well hidden or too hard to make photos of. But this fine mess is the world's longest Water Coaster! Black Anaconda! It is probably the most intense things I've ridden in a very long time. If it was an actual coaster, definitely would be in my Top 10! Very out of control and many, many hills! I waited more than 45 minutes for it, but for sure worth it!

7.thumb.jpg.07ca24d8a8e06169dc45b7ad2bbe562a.jpg

I know you guys are only reading this because of Scorpion's Tail! It is America's only looping water slide. I did not get a chance to ride it because the line was over 2 hours, but boy it does look intense!

8.jpg.0bb534f288f064dd3a95718aa9ecbead.jpg

It's a little hard to see, but at the bottom of the first drop is an escape hatch, where if people don't make it high enough over the loop, they'll ROLL BACK. There is also an escape hatch at the top of the loop, in case you get stuck at the top! Oh yeah, you need to be at least 90 pounds to ride.

9.jpg.f60cbddb4f3246ad527bdad0ca4696c7.jpg

Can you believe that this family raft is trimmed at the top?! Believe it. There are jets after the first drop that slow you down before you experience much airtime!

10.jpg.3bde90d986a8d11714914475faefb257.jpg

Final picture! I just want to say thanks to Noah's Ark for keeping some of the older slides! There are new ones (Which seem to have HUGE waits) and the old ones (which were walk ons on a Saturday.) Although, it is America's largest water park, and walking from on side of the park to the other will hurt your feet!

I was fortunate to get to slide Scorpion's Tail last month as a WALK ON! Took several drops in my 2 hour visit to the park...even got on every other slide in the place. NO one there on a Saturday in June!

ugh, that wait for Scorpion's Tail was what I was fearing. I rode that slide first thing in the morning when it opened and coming off, I saw a bunch of people lining up for it. Fun slide but not really worth a 1 hour wait, let alone 2 hours.

I like your photos of the waterpark!

Almost no water slide is worth a 1-2 hour wait in my opinion. The only ones that could be worth it in my opinion are water coasters and that is it.

Body slides, bowl slides, halfpipe slides, and funnel slides are really fun, but they are over too quickly.

If I ever make it to the Dells, I'd definitely stop by at Noah's Ark.

Also, do they still have that Noah's Incredible Adventure ride? What even was that attraction since I remember seeing a commercial for it and it didn't at all say what type of ride it was. Was it even a ride or was it just a maze type attraction?

^Noah's Incredible Adventure isn't very "incredible". It opened in 2003 and was a dry ride where you walked through some rooms, went into the world's largest "hellevator" (those fake elevators that seem like they're moving", and then into a giant simulator type room where you sat down and the walls moved around you as an illusion to simulate the storm. It never made sense to me why they put a dry ride in a water park. Sometime afterwards they added a mirror maze and then in 2009 they re-themed it to the Curse of the Crypt.

Thanks. So it sounds like the ride was very similar to Houdini at Six Flags New England.

I remember riding the one at Clark's Trading Post in New Hampshire when I was 5. They advertised that it would be an intense experience that would send riders upside down. Up until that point, I had never been on any inverting ride because I was too short. Immediately following the ride, I came out and said very loudly to the ride attendent that the ride was a ripoff since the seats never moved. In hindsight, I probably shouldn't have said that, but I was 5 at the time and I took everything literally. How literally? Well, I refused to ride Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, Body Wars, and Tower of Terror when I went to Disney. I was afraid of being shrunk in the first two and I was freaked out by the Tower of Terror's preshow video. I was afraid of being struck by lightning and being turned into a corpse. At least I finally got on two of the three on my last trip to Disney.

Wow, you have some very interesting reviews for IB. I personally felt like HH was just a large kiddie coaster, that just kind of meandered its way over the park. You can even see in one of your photos that the top of one of the hills is flattened out, killing any Airtime. For me SH was the same way, it just kind of went through the course like an extreme, but trimmed Mad Mouse. CE on the other hand was a totally out of control experience with a ton of airtime and in my top 5.

Noah's Ark is definitly my favorite waterpark. I was lucky and visited on a day a couple of years ago when the big two, only had waits of about 25 minutes. Black Anaconda is definitly my favorite slide ever, although I didn't make it out to ride Wildebeast this year. Time Warp was also really fun.

Noah's Incredible Adventure was a part walkthrough, part fake Elevator, part Vekoma Madhouse. During my first trip through, the theming was actually quite creepy, and not knowing what to expect certainly made the ride better, but not something to write home about.

Just because it has a slight inclined uphill turnaround does not make it a looping waterslide. As Robb said in the amazing waterslides thread, it's nowhere near as steep as the ones overseas. Still looks like it had a huge line compared to the speed slide next to it, which I would be riding more instead.

So on Sunday July 25th and Monday July 26th, I was at the Dells with Griffin (GriffyTiffy), Jojo (Jojo19799), and Jon (Deathbydinn).

Let me just say that this is probably the most fun I had in a weekend this year! It involved so many moments and playing around, it was just great! But let's get to the reviewing and pictures!

Hellcat - Can I just claim this coaster as the "mega-lites" of woodies? It's very fast paced, quick turns, lots of airtime, and did not slow down one bit until the brake run! I just hope this park doesn't close down because Mount Olympus seems to be taking away a lot of their crowds.

Hades- Definitely the best coaster of this weekend right ahead of Hellcat! Rode in the front both times (at night!) and I was just speechless! The coaster didn't have much airtime (or any that I noticed) but it was just that amazing! The drop into the tunnel was great! There were lots of goodies and treats in the tunnel before being blasted out for a quick relief before being sent back in there! But I would say my favorite part of the ride was the outward banked turn right before you shoot out of the tunnel for the 2nd time. The rest of the ride is great too, but just go ride it yourself!

Zeus - Out and back woodie. Does nothing.

Cyclops - I wasn't able to do the rear, so I picked the 4th to back. Roughy rough and preferred the front! The dive into the ravine was nothing special (unless it's totally kick ass in the back!) But otherwise, perfect for Mount Olympus!

Pegasus - The "crappy" version of Hellcat. It reminded me a lot of Hellcat, but it was slow in parts, and not much airtime.

OPA! - Worse than Ragin' Cajun. You're better off falling down the stairs in a rotational chair (You'll probably get more speed doing that too!)

Picture time!

1378332075_1800x600.thumb.jpg.cdc1d1308d18f7a681d7cccf7edf5ae4.jpg

Here is Hellcat! I'm not sure how tall it is, but don't doubt it!

1550633894_2800x600.jpg.b70919423a3137b7d8b7504d17edf0d4.jpg

The coaster circles around the park 2 times, many hills and turns! And yes, it's a hybrid.

1785572210_3800x600.jpg.0fd4415bfba5789236ed32f9eded85ee.jpg

"Little" cart means it won't be dragging along the track!

1988389515_4800x600.jpg.a16d87747e7b427a9e12fe4d52438745.jpg

You can see Hellcat from any point at Timber Falls! (Obviously)

1450953593_5800x600.jpg.ba0dac8807b458ce94e5c21273d43e99.jpg

Not a steep drop, but definitely picks up speed quickly!

53307935_6800x600.jpg.19ef733c6915e39879607eb300f0e1ae.jpg

As I said earlier, the park was dead. As soon as a few people sat on the train, they would send it out.

1061014669_8800x600.jpg.4cd103a0b695d86ae0eb05d3d7a15b13.jpg

The ride has many sexy curves! The train goes flying right through them!

The bumper boats (right under two of Hellcat's turns) They go slow and squirt water!

One of the best log flumes around! And you do get wet! Fantastic layout with lots of theming as well.

Hades is such a great ride! But I bet it'll beat you up in the back.

1477742_23800x600.jpg.95b78a868b2a53c3c4895d73f8dcd67a.jpg

This would be the up charge attraction called Apollo's Swing! Mount Olympus doesn't have any flat ride that isn't indoors that comes FREE with your admission!

753107265_24800x600.jpg.a8ffcf4fc6823b4b6d93becf0baf4d52.jpg

OPA sucks.

1880049618_25800x600.thumb.jpg.19e0ad76bfa6260bfc77972aa17d4d76.jpg

Hades is tall, fast, hilly, but does lack airtime! (Which doesn't bother me!)

379240288_26800x600.thumb.jpg.1ba6b66d21fc9107e918ab600e3dc27b.jpg

It's a hybrid too! But don't ask me how it related to other TGG coasters. (Only one I have ridden)

975830889_27800x600.jpg.8c21a24f11a17406c6ac9963d739a0ee.jpg

Cool photos. Cyclops apparently has one of the most intense drops in the very back seat. If you go on ThemeParkCritic, you can see what some of the reviews say about the drop. Also, Hades had no airtime? That's odd because I remember several people saying that the ride had some really great air. Maybe you caught it on a bad day?

Just because it has a slight inclined uphill turnaround does not make it a looping waterslide. As Robb said in the amazing waterslides thread, it's nowhere near as steep as the ones overseas. Still looks like it had a huge line compared to the speed slide next to it, which I would be riding more instead.

Action Park's looping water slide still is THE looping water slide in my book.

As for the Scorpion's Tail, it's definitely less intense than the ones overseas as Robb said; however, the incline does make the body slide still quite unique and marketing it as a looping water slide apparently has worked quite well for the park considering the crowds.
