aw man. . . Stephen Furst

yet another cast member from Babylon 5 gone way too soon. . . he was a wonderful guy too:

here we are in 2001 at Dragon*con.

He also was known for playing Flounder from Animal House, and Dr. Elliott Axlerod from St. Elsewhere

Nelsan Ellis -- who played "Lafayette" on "True Blood"

he was a wonderful man, and I enjoyed my interactions with him at Dragon*con.

Such a straight man, playing such an over the top Gay character, and he did it with such ease, and no qualms at all.

I will miss him. . far too young (39) to be gone.

Filthy mouth, no excuse

Find a new place to hang this noose

String me up from atop these roofs

Knot it tight so I won't get loose

Truth is you can stop and stare

Bled myself out and no one cares

Yeah Linkin Park was nu metal edgy band, but that's a little too close now.

and this thread missed the passing the other day of:

George Romero (he may be the father of the zombie, but I loved his "Crazies" and "Martin" just as much).

and Martin Landau. . who most know from "Mission Impossible", but I knew from "Space: 1999")

I was just about to mention that too! It's a shame that they're gone. I really need to see Night of the Living Dead and Ed Wood.

June Foray just passed away at 99. I think every animation expert should know who she was. She was the voice of some of the great animated characters in animation history, including Rocky and Granny. I'm honestly saddened by this. She was a legend in the animation industry, and I would've loved to actually meet her, but now I know that I never will.
