My knee is finally starting to begin to maybe someday hopefully heal! ;) Can't wait until I get back into running. I have to be in shape for the Disneyland 1/2 in 5 months!

I'm currently training for the Race for the Cure 5K here in NW Arkansas on April 24. I've been keeping a steady pace for 40-45 minutes for the last couple of weeks. This week I've lagged it due to work, but my real goal is to be ready for the Disneyland 1/2 marathon in September. :mickey:

For those of us running the Disneyland 1/2 ... we should set up an after-race meet at the Cove Bar at DCA for a celebratory beer!!! I know that's where I'll be spending my afternoon. :D

I'm in for the Disneyland half too. It's an awesome race, just as long as it isn't as hot as it was in 2007!!

I'm running my second marathon on May 2 - The Avenue of the Giants in Eureka, CA.

I only started running a couple of years ago, and my first marathon was last July here in San Francisco. Like someone posted before, running is a convenient form of exercise because you can do it anywhere, and it requires very little equipment. I'm not a very fast runner, so I prefer the longer distance.

I would love to do a Disney marathon some day. Looks like so much fun.

I got a PR in the 800 today.
Just because yours is smaller doesn't make you less of a man. Unless we're talking about your brain.

^That's awesome, congratulations! I used to run the 800 in high school, it was an amazing race.

I just finished running the Race for the Cure 5K here in NW Arkansas, my first race in 11 years! I have no idea what my time was since I was so focused on finishing I didn't notice the ginormous time clock at the finish line. I'm guessing it was between 25-28 minutes. I'll post my official time when the times are announced on their website. Keep on running, everyone! :b
