[ORCT2] Aero's Dynamics

Recommended Posts

Hey all! Now that I'm back on my main computer, I've been working on some more coaster designs. Here's some of my personal favourites that I've recently finished:

Coaster

Coaster is a compact, airtime-machine woodie with a layout almost identical to the real Coaster, at my home park PNE Playland in Vancouver. (No CS here!)

This thing can really kick your ass if you're not careful. Just watch the POV up on YouTube!

Shockwave

Named and painted in homage to the first, more compact than the last, and inspired by all three - Shockwave is my take on the Arrow seven-inversion sisters.

Stormracers

The Stormracers: Thunderclap (blue) and Lightning Bolt (yellow). Two racing Arrow loopers, each with three inversions. Yes, the corkscrews are intertwined, and yes, it looks awesome in action.

Pegasus

SCR36.thumb.png.ff816692b505dc958b7f52fd25f9c0af.png

Inspired by Vortex at the beginning and Ninja at the end, but given some serious steroids. This is one hell of an Arrow swinger.

Pegasus is a true spaghetti-bowl of twisty, fast Arrow track. Also, Boomerang.

Naga

Naga is a pretty standard B&M floorless.

Well, except for the barrel roll before the lift hill. Like Hydra!

Triple Star

SCR41.thumb.png.93da43ae8c9d977d4a77a077f5e7dfb1.png

Triple Star is a big, fast modified-out-and-back style woodie.

This was built before I realized it was a better idea to spread out flat rides.

Triple Star's turnaround is... simple. I originally wanted to go for something more like The Voyage, but I couldn't get the curves right.

Rolling Runaway

SCR44.thumb.png.60f26672669ec13b4fc4ad1925d818fc.png

Rolling Runaway is a small, relatively tame Arrow mine train with a dark tunnel through the mountain behind it. The scenery experimentation is strong with this one.

That's all for now! Thanks for having a look - suggestions and criticism are welcome and appreciated! ❤
