Welcome back to Six Flags Florida Escape!

August 17th started out as a day sleeping but then I realized that Big Bend opened today so I got up and went to Florida Escape.

This is the 70s before parks stayed open all year.

Florida parks, from as early as I can remember, have been year round. BGT (early 60s) and Disney (1971) have been round, as was Cypress Gardens (1943)- not to mention some of the other smaller attractions therein.

Also, what are the excitement/intensity stats on the rides? I would love to see that.

Finally back, the park decided due to work on the area by the Runaway Mine Train that the park would be closed from November to Janurary.
