Looks really cool. I'll definitely have to check out this place when I eventually visit Dubai. Velociraptor's layout reminds me of Blue Fire, which is one my favorite rollercoasters in Europe.

I've always wondered why an indoor park of this size hasn't been attempted in the states (especially in a market that the elements can be a problem, like Florida). It looks like they've done incredible things with the Marvel brand and it is so cool to see a Falcon's Treehouse CircuMotion Theater actually installed in a park with a such a great IP! Thank you for such an excellent report on this place--I'm not sure when or if I'll ever get out to the UAE myself, so I live vicariously through these reports. I'm eager to see IMG Worlds succeed, especially knowing they plan to expand with a second adjacent park.

This kind of place (Probably in a much smaller building) would be great in NYC where the weather isn't so great.

I've found it weird that NYC/NJ only really has Coney Island, SFGadV, and small Jersey Shore parks--yet they have such a massive population and number of tourists/major media companies.

C'mon Disney, build a Marvel thing in NY! :mickey:

I was thinking this type of park in the US would be better fitted for a cold weather area as well with a population and tourist base, like NYC. If it's in a hot weather area, I think it would be better suited for Vegas, if Vegas wanted a full size amusement park.

Yeah I'm sort of the same way. And you're right, it didn't really matter much because the rides were good just on their own, and the great use of the property was awesome, too!

I've gone pantless!

So true! NYC needs a little 'theme park love!' :lover: (In the meantime, I wonder if Tony Stark's delivers to my zipcode!) ;)

P.S. You guys ALWAYS look so happy on your trips, but the sheer joy in all your faces truly tops the cake in these IMG pix! (And I can't stop smiling at those pix with your 'suited-up' 3D Iron Man faces! An absolutely PERFECT souvenir!)

While I have not gotten to our Motiongate part of the report yet (that's coming up soon!) we did get to tour the "under construction" Capitol Bullet Train roller coaster while we were there which has since opened and the park has sent us some footage! So here's a little bit of foreshadowing to our next update...

Looks like a fun little coaster that can potentially be cloned everywhere!

Why do I still have a donkey title???

That looks like a very fun little coaster! Definitely cloning potential here. I also really like that it launches into a vertical loop, gives a little bit of a 'classic feel' to a modern ride. =)

Easily my favourite propper coaster in dubai. With dragon gliders just beating it if you count powered coasters.

I love the idea of a Hunger Games coaster (I'm clearly out of the loop because I never knew this was a thing). I sort of wish it were themed a bit, but I guess it's themed just as much as every superhero coaster at a Six Flags park is themed. Looks fun!
