Old Pleasure Beach Postcard 1940s?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Firstly, after years of simply reading these forums, I've finally decided to join, so go easy on me - I'm new here!

I thought I'd keep my first post for something that has been bugging me for a while now. Whilst Googling old photos of theme parks and amusement parks, I found this photo/postcard, which purports to be from Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Now, I know for a fact it isn't, and other Pleasure Beach aficionados I've asked, seem to agree with me. What I need to know is, does anyone know where the image was actually taken? It's been a nightmare trying to find out, and even though, in the grand scheme of things isn't important, I'd feel a lot less frustrated at not knowing! (What can I say... I'm easily distracted! )

Anyway, this is the link to the photo / postcard

If anyone knows, then please put me out of my misery!

Thanks,

Tommy
