Another plan for an insanely huge park in Dubai? The sheer number of giant parks planned and parks completed in the U.A.E. still leave me quite speechless. Hopefully this one falls through successfully, because it looks neat.

Of course Bollywood park would be of the least interest to me, since I don't follow Indian film, but it's a smart move to cater to local tastes.

I'd probably still visit when I get to Dubai, since I have enjoyed themed areas and parks in China, Japan and Europe even when not familiar with the characters and storylines.

The solution provided by Picsolve will involve a full range of digital, video and image capture solutions, allowing guests to enjoy a seamless and connected photo experience across attractions in the region.

Using Picsolve’s unique ‘Photo Tag’ and digital solution, guests will be able to ‘tag’ themselves or be tagged across experiences using a barcode, wristband or directly from the app. Guests can then purchase photos as part of an ‘all-inclusive’ package, taking advantage of a one-off cost for all experiences captured throughout their visit.

Experiences will include photo and video on rides, in sets, with characters, as well as unique computer aided experiences through Picsolve’s award-winning GSX technology platform. Additionally, roaming photographers will be on the ground at Riverpark to capture cherished moments. Photo gifts and branded photo books will be integrated at all four sites.

In support of this agreement, Picsolve is committed to expand its presence in the region and will have in excess of 300 employees by full rollout. Delivering the world class guest experience around photography will be a growing team of Picsolve retail professionals trained in a proprietary ‘Retail Academy Programme’ to ensure five star customer service.

Jeff Kelisky, CEO of Picsolve commented: “Dubai Parks and Resorts only collaborates with best-in-class partners, and given its ambition, we are honoured to be selected for such a high profile and prestigious project. The world of photography in the leisure sector is changing dramatically and our investments in the retail and digital space over the last two years enable us to deliver on the bold vision we share with the management of Dubai Parks and Resorts, for what is one of the biggest projects of its kind this decade. By deploying our most advanced digital solutions and retail expertise, we will allow guests to access all their images and get more from their visit in a connected experience through all the attractions.”

Raed Al Nuaimi, CEO of Dubai Parks and Resorts PJSC (under incorporation), said: “Dubai Parks and Resorts has partnered with Picsolve to offer to guests of the theme parks the most innovative photo and video image solutions. We are confident that with such world-class technology, visitors to our themed destinations will be able to create and take home memories that last a lifetime.”
