Wish America had one of these...
Life is like a roller coaster- it has its ups, its downs, its heartline rolls, its batwings, its immelmanns, its corkscrews, is pretzel loops, its..... never mind.

Good to hear as I had the "pleasure" of having (2) TOGO's at my home park of SFGA back in the day! Oh my!!!!

That said- the footprint/station is now home to one of the best woodies in the country!

Ultra Twister: http://www.greatadventurehistory.com/UltraTwister.htm
Viper: http://www.greatadventurehistory.com/Viper.htm

That said- I give credit to SFGA for being a major risk taker on ride concepts back in the day.......

Yes, I agree that El Toro was a big step up. ;)

Actually, there USED to be one here, Ultra Twister from Six Flags Astroworld. I think it's in storage at Six Flags America.

They should build a few more of these in the world, yes? No? :)

Well, I don't see how that is possible. TOGO went bankrupt and closed in 2002.

Actually, other companies did attempt the Pipeline Coaster design (Arrow Dynamics and Intamin), but they never caught on.
Besides, their pipeline coasters were not as awesome as TOGO's version :p

^Agreed--the Togo Ultra Twisters were great rides (certainly much better than I'd expected them to be).

Seeing it run with the trim off on that POV reminded me of my first ride on it when it was also off providing great air in the last hills (made even better by the restraints)
I think the Mr Freeze rides should have speakers playing the sentence: "Let's kick some ice!" right before each launch ;)

What does one say after riding a Batman clone?
The G force is strong with this one.
