^Both of these, yes. GhostRider desperately needs attention, but it's great to see the Log Ride getting some TLC.

I do remember the part after the first drop not being a giant empty room...when did it collapse?

Awesome news!

Now I'm glad that my last ride on the 'old' ride was a memorable experience. There were five of us in one log!

This is great news to me because I've never been to Knotts but hopefully when I get around to making that trip the Log Flume will still be operating! I love a good log flume, but for whatever reason it seems like there haven't been any great log flumes built in the past decade. I know they are probably expensive to maintain and operate, but even the newer flumes like Shoot the Rapids, and Pilgrims Plunge just don't seem to be as cool as the older rides. Exciting news.

I totally missed that! That's what I get for still being half asleep when I posted it. I guess KBF PR missed it too, contradicting themselves in the release.

^Regardless of which one came first, the log ride is still the best attraction at Knott's and much better than the flume at Six Flags over Texas. Good to see that they're giving it an overhaul.

Hell yeah. Ride quality doesn't even compare, and Flume #1 was a tough credit to get for a while, but seems to be running more reliably the last few years.

My only hope is that they don't remove the 'SIT DOWN' sensors, but even if they do, who cares, as the renovations sound kick A$$.
