I loved the old Circus Parade, but I' sure Mack will do a great job with the upgrade.

New designs for Moulin Rouge roller coaster in Europa-Park

220318sat1.jpg

Europa-Park has released new designs for Eurosat - CanCan Coaster. The well-known indoor rollercoaster Eurosat from 1989 is currently being converted into a rollercoaster with a Moulin Rouge theme. Visitors to the German theme park will soon find themselves in the famous Paris nightclub.

On new drawings you can see the queue and the richly decorated station of the attraction. Fountains are coming in front of the entrance. In addition, today the appearance of the new trains was unveiled at a press conference.

Eurosat, located in the French themed area of Europa-Park, opens this summer. There will be two stations, one for rides with virtual reality. The layout of the 900 meters long roller coaster remains virtually unchanged. The iconic spiral lift with a height of over 25 meters will also remain.

This is looking kind of like another Guardians of the Galaxy scenario: a retheme that seems really weird at first glance, but as more info about the new theme and ride gets released, the more I can get behind the idea.

Hopefully it will end up like Guardians in that it ends up being really cool and different after everything's said and done.

I really like those cars! At first I was not enthused by the retheme (although of course I trust Europa in terms of quality and execution), but I like how it's shaping up--I'll probably love the finished station.

^ The music in it is part of the world famous "Galop Infernal" by Offenbach (1858), which everybody knows,
but not everybody knows who wrote it. The video looks great! Awesome way to promote the coaster.
