^^^Is that the elevator/tilt platform/beyond vertical drop system that I think Giovanola was pimping at one point? My recollection is quite vague... So herpderp and stuff...

Yeah, and LOVE the MM version of the SAA logo!

I really need to stop posting stuff when I'm half awake :p

Yes, I did deserve that. I should have noticed the date change...

As for the thrill lift, that is a design I've always wished Vekoma had at least attempted... Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there only one tilt coaster currently in the world because of the amount of issues the tilt mechanism causes?

Hello TPR, and welcome to the fifth season of Shane's Amusement Attic. I have got some great stuff for you this season. Old Stuff, Industry Stuff and some pretty nifty EXCLUSIVE stuff you will only see here in Shane's Amusement Attic. (I guess that is what exclusive means)

So who is this Shane guy you ask? I am just like the rest of you...just a nerdy kid that loved roller coasters. I took that geeky passion and turned it into a career that has been most enjoyable. It all started back in the sleepy town of San Diego. Rather than me tell you about it why don't you read it for yourself.

Below is an article that appeared in the San Diego Union when I was just a 14 (1979) year old kid. It would seem that back in those days my "unique" hobby was worth a story in the news paper. This article is a nice segway into our first exclusive. Take note of the highlighted paragraph and get ready to take flight.

Season 5 begins NOW!

The above article briefly mentioned a park by the name of Air World being developed in San Diego. The actual name of the park was AeroWorld and here is an exclusive look at one of the most original theme park concepts that never was.

Awesome as always! I feel like that exact newspaper article could have been written about me when I was about the same age. I still have all my original park "blueprints" in my storage closet, including my favorite Nintendo themed park.

When was it planned? And Why was it Cancelled?

Personally, it looks cool but I don't think it would've taken off (No Pun Intended)
