Space Mountain - Disneyland California

Postby SluggoBear » Sat Feb 19, 2005 1:07 pm

So what's the scoop for Space Mountain in California? Is it going to open in time for the 50th Anniversary celebration? Re-tracked, new effects and everything?

I have heard that it's not opening until November. Anyone know if that's the case?

I've also heard it's the exact same track layout, but with new theming.

Does seem like there hasn't been too much officially announced on this, especially since it's re-opening this year.

I happen to know that the track layout will be staying the exact same this year for reopening. The only thing changing is some IMMENSE special effects. But I can't belive it, about five years of special effects? That's crazy!

The track is the same layout, but it's all new track. It's not like they kept the old track and just added effects. The ENTIRE ride has been gutted and re-done.

Did I hear there was now a launch? (Yes, I know the layout's the same, but I swear I heard something about a launch somewhere now)
