  1. Haven't been on here for a while, so here's a couple of new rides! MAGNI DOWNLOAD Prepare for a thrilling ride through the Swedish countryside on Magni, a GCI twister coaster with high Gs, fast transitions and buckets of airtime. PIXEL DASH DOWNLOAD Pixel Dash is a fast paced, Gerstlauer Infinity coaster with a beyond vertical drop, 55mph launch and 8 inversions. Travel on a wave of light and sound as you travel through a simulation like no other, flipping and dodging obstacles. Enjoy!
  2. Any updates on Colossos so far, like the rail company being seen on site?
  3. Just curious Chuck, what's your opinion on the Colossos retracking? Do you think it needed it or would have been OK for a while longer (if it was safe to run of course). Just because you said you found it about fine when you ride earlier this year.
  4. Does anyone who knows Heide staff or the like know more specifically why it's had to go down other than just "rail part replacement"? (EG which bits need retracking). I'm a bit annoyed it'll be down for my first ever visit in October, but there's not much I can do about it. I think it'd take a miracle for them to reopen it for Halloween but I wouldn't say it's impossible! EDIT: as a general note, I'm intrigued to see if the other Intamin woodies will need this at some point in their lives. I would assume Colossos was maintained pretty well, so it begs the question about rides like El Toro, as Six Flags often don't look after their rides particularly well. Also, it'll be interesting to see the time for the new bits of track to be produced. Colossos is a prefab woodie which reduces initial track build and production time at least.
  5. Just a few from Europa Park. Wodan at sunset Wodan at sunset Wodan at sunset
  6. EDIT: Realised there is actually a thread for this type of stuff. Apologies, I didn't realise. If this needs removing just tell me. I've been making NoLimits 2 stuff for a fair while now, and I'm trying to take my creations onto new sites so I can hear what people think and showcase my work. I'll kick off this thread with my most recent ride, Mission Vertigo, NoLimits 2's First "VR coaster". Download (Also includes a link to the night download, I'll try and get a Steam download up soon too) Enjoy! - NR
  7. I'm we finally have official confirmation now, I was sure it would reopen, but if anything this is as much for the "General Public" who haven't followed all the little changes made on the ride throughout the season and seen the testing as much as it is reassurance to the enthusiasts. I'm very excited about riding again in 2016. I personally believe Merlin so far have handled the incident very well and have been very sensible. Whilst it's sad to see they've had to make job cuts, it could have been a much bigger effect on the park in my opinion, especially with the barrage of hate negative articles from the media. I hope the people unemployed find jobs again soon too. I hope the 2016 season is better than the 2015 one, and I have high hopes (I'm staying positive for the meantime) about Air V2/Galatica!
  8. Fireworks review The Fireworks were definitely my favourite so far. The Enterprise was utilised well and the live actors were a nice touch. There was a good mix of music and it really cannot be summed up in words. I have taken lots of pictures though. The music was very good, and the musical highlight was the orchestral Hex theme. I do love Hex, it's an epic dark ride, so hearing it's theme remastered was pleasing to my inner fanboy The finale was awesome, and the lasers were probably the star this year. I also got in 4 night rides which were Nemesis, Oblivion, Congo River Rapids and lastly Air. I made sure I got several rides on Air before it's transformation next year. I personally am predicting VR like lots of other people, so it could be the last time seeing the actual landscape instead of VR. This was definitely my favourite event of the year as I couldn't attend Scarefest and I was pleasantly surprised by the queues. I definitely hope to attend next year! I got in 3 rides on Nemesis, including one at night. A picture of Rita, taken from the Th13teen queue. Don't look down... Goodbye Air! Some of my pictures of the Fireworks.
  9. Do we have any idea of the capacity yet? I'm still unsure how long the queues will be
  10. How rough really is X2? I hear it's quite bad but people still rate the ride highly... Twisted Colossus is looking great though. I mean, the trains alone would be enough to make me call it an awesome coaster
  11. Thanks everyone who has replied so far! This advice will be very handy for getting the most amount of rides in. I will definitely be skipping Batman, I rode the original at Great America and I would be better off not wasting time on clones. To add to this, Green Lantern and Viper look super rough and not that fun, are they worth the wait at all? How good are Apocalypse and Drop of Doom compared to some other things? I mean, I've hardly ridden any woodies as there very rare in the UK and all the UK drop towers are much smaller than Drop of Doom... Finally, is Full Throttle or X2 definitely the rides to go to first? It depends on the day a bit I guess but I want to know as I would like to plan a route for the initial run!
  12. Firstly, sorry if this is in the wrong place, I’m new to the forum! I am an enthusiast who lives in the UK and I’m lucky enough to be visiting Six Flags Magic Mountain this summer in July. However, I am trying to plan the day in as much depth as possible and I’ve been struggling to find recent information on which to do first, where restaurants are and which are best and whether a Flash Pass would be needed (as I am only visiting for one day). Firstly, which coaster is best to start with? I hear that X2, Tatsu and Full Throttle can get very busy and Twisted Colossus will be undoubted massive queues whatever time. If it is any help I think I am visiting on a weekday. Secondly, which restaurants are best and where would I find them? Also, are there any benches/places where people can sit if they are not in a ride queue or restaurant? One of the people visiting with me has vertigo and so cannot ride the large coasters. If it helps, I have a list of rides which I want to do (I’m probably not doing re-rides though as I’m only there for a day). They are Twisted Colossus, X2 (obviously), Tatsu, Full Throttle, Superman – Escape from Krypton, Goliath, Riddlers Revenge and Scream. Would I need a flash pass to do one ride on these in one day? If there any very good rides I’m missing off the list that I should do or any that are on the list I shouldn’t do, please tell me! PS will the queues for Goliath be any longer because of the Monster Hunter trains? And I assume most who get off Twisted Colossus will go on Scream or Goliath straight after…
