  1. I'd like to know this too. One of the main reasons I decided to pull the trigger on a membership this year was because they advertised this as a perk. If they aren't going to do a soft opening for members, they really need to plan some other sort of event to make up for it. (Not just passholder previews for Fright Nights) Also, War Eagle.
  2. Does anyone know if TC will be eligible for the one free skip the line pass for Platinum members? That way If you bought Flash Pass, you could theoretically skip the lines once, plus riding at park opening and park closing.
  3. Fury is worth at least an 8 hour drive. I was blown away by that coaster. The drop on the turnaround is just amazing air. I'm getting tempted by all this now more than ever since I found out I can fit B&M Hypers on Sunday with Apollo's Chariot. Granted I don't want to go all the way down to Carowinds until I can ride Alpengeist because going to Carowinds and being unable to ride Afterburn would kill me. ANYWAY Twisted Cyclone is looking great! Is Afterburn supposed to be closed? I'm going to Carowinds for the first time Memorial Day Weekend.
  4. Do you just prefer paying all at once? Seems that is the only difference other than what they call it. The new perk of getting to skip one line each time was a nice addition.
  5. Does anyone know if Justice League/Superman and Gotham typically open with the park? Or do they open an hour later? Also, I've never bought a refillable cup before, but since I did Diamond membership, I get free refills all year. I'd rather just get a new disposable paper cup every time, but since I've now got to lug this cup around, I'm not sure what to do with certain rides. I've always gone completely bagless to avoid having to use lockers. I seem to remember goliath not allowing certain things on, even though they have boxes to store your items in the loading platform. What is the actual rule with souvenir cups? I would think Six Flags would want to allow them on rides if they want to sell them.
  6. I'm going this weekend and was wondering if you kind people could answer a few questions. Is the new Joker ride is open yet? I am assuming it is not since I can't find anything about an opening date online. Does SFOG typically open earlier than the posted wait? I seem to remember it already being open when we got there last year much to my shock. We are buying season passes but typically only make it over twice a year since we are so far away. And last, do Superman and Batman both open as soon as the park opens? The last several times we have been Superman always closes down when we are just about to get on the ride. It's like we are cursed. I generally want to get in as many rides on Goliath as possible before a line forms, but I'd also like to get in Superman, Bathman, and Goliath in the first hour if that's possible. I can't remember how quickly crowds build but I imagine I won't have much time before everything is an hour wait. What would be your rope drop strategy? I vow every year I won't go back on a Saturday ever again, but it just seems unavoidable most of the time. I always think I will get a lot done before the park gets crowded but their lines just build ridiculously fast.
