I went to Lake Compounce for the first time ever 8/28 and first off I thought it was a great little park with a good selection of rides. Probably my favorite park of my New England trip. Boulder Dash was honestly a top 10 or maybe even top 5 woodie despite what a lot of people have been saying lately. Yes, the triple up was as rough as anything I've ever come across but that ONE small section of the ride was not enough to detract from the rest of that awesome, relentless layout. My friend and I took two laps, one in the front and one in the back, and we both agreed the front was amazing and even the much rougher back seat had just enough out of control, oh s#!t (in a good way) moments to out weigh the intense jack hammering at the end of the ride. We both loved it! Wildcat on the other hand truly can burn in hell... Phobia was really good as well. I had been on Discovery Kingdom's Superman but it still took me by surprise just how much fun it was and having hardly any wait at this park was a definite plus. And for anyone saying the flyers are impossible to snap, I actually saw a little girl snap the thing...
