  1. What if, instead of Dorney receiving Mantis, it means Hydra and Mantis are switching trains? Mantis is supposed to be turned into a floorless coaster with new track colors. So instead of ordering new trains, they could use Hydra's pair of floorless trains to save some money. And then, instead of scrapping Mantis's trains, they send them here and market Hydra as a new experience for 2015. That's just what it sounds like (to me) with CP saying "Take your last stand" and DP saying "We stand up with CP."
  2. Well, the Storming of the Bastille took place in 1789, which could be a potential hint to the length. 1789 meters is 5869.42 feet. But given that it was Chris who has given the clue, I wonder if it was his reference. Marie Antoinette, the wife of King Louis XVI at the time, had supposedly said, "Let them eat cake," after learning that the peasants had no bread to eat. With cake (not cake as we know it today. It's more of a heavier bread made with lots of eggs and butter) being more expensive than regular bread, it made people think Marie Antoinette never cared for the peasants at all. She was also known as a heavy spender and was nicknamed "Madame Deficit." Her extreme spending was what many people believed to have led to the financial crisis of France. Perhaps the clue is alluding that this coaster is going to have a high price tag (but obviously an affordable one. Don't want to start that arguing again). Thank you World History class. Who would've guessed that I might need to know this stuff for the summer?
  3. Isn't it possible that none of the track pieces are stacked and that it just appears that way based on the angle the picture was taken? The way I see it, there are three orange pieces lined up in a row and the middle piece happens to be elevated due to where the supports attach on the middle piece. I could be wrong here, but I'm just trying to add another perspective into the mix of speculation.
  4. Looks like this project is a go! Kalahari Resorts announced the Pocono resort earlier today and that it is due to open in Summer of 2015! Source Groundbreaking commenced earlier today! Welcome to Kalahari!
  5. I'm going on a school trip to GA on Saturday, May 18th, and I was wondering if anyone could share what I could anticipate. We're expecting to get there at approximately 10AM, and I'm hoping to get on the major coasters and SkyScreamer. However 2PM - 3PM are out of the picture for rides. What could I expect for wait times throughout the day, and what would be the best order to go on these rides to wait in line the least amount of time? I know that parks can be hectic when schools have trips, which usually are on the same day. My brother went a few years ago on a school trip and only got on three or four rides, which is why I'm asking. I just hope I could luck out better than him. Thanks!
