  1. I confirm ! It is Great Expo Coaster @ Silver Dollar City. How did you guess ?
  2. SuicideCarz I like your terraforming ! Cool and original use of the bobsleigh track as well. + Glimpses of my B&M Inverted on-going. Full thread here
  3. Great effort for the entrance so far. I like your existing buildings, they're not too simple and monotonous. The landscape is cool, too.
  4. Yep ! Watched the POV a few weeks ago, and the coaster is so unique it immedialy came back to my mind when I saw your pic. Nice pick anyway =]
  5. Thank you all three for your comments ! griffonj2022 is right, the train in launched in the "lift hill" section. It's an uphill catapult similar to Disneyland Paris's Space Mountain and Universal Island of Adventure's Hulk. I use block section tricks in order to stop the train a few seconds in the catapult hill before launch. Next update in 5-6 days, any extra comment is welcome
  6. Hello everyone. Even though I have 8 years of RCT experience behind me, this is the first project I post here ! And I begin with the result of about 30 hours of work, showing you my progress on Escape the Predator... This B&M creation will indeed be themed around the 1987 movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. I worked with dedication to build the most precise supports I could, and worked carefully the terraforming and terrain textures. Even though it is only about 30m high, it has seven inversions, pulls off some 5G at one point, and even has some airtime ! Enjoy the pics : Loopy-loop ! Over the hill Flat Spin Helix of Death ! Barrel Roll... Nemesis-inspired ending Two overview shots, which also reveal the first inversion : a zero-g-roll right after the tilted launch ! Totally Hulk-like. Feel free to suggest and critizise
  7. What a unique park ! The foliage, paths and fences/railings work is virtually flawless : it's pretty detailed, varied. Your buildings and coasters are not too imposing but truly beautiful. And the theme is simply genius, original and well-executed. I'm going to watch this thread.
  8. I was initially very skeptical with this park, especially because of recurrent in-game scenery. But actually it suits well the 'Six Flags' atmosphere, like every single coaster you chose to build. You also seem to successfully exploit terraforming. It looks like you're not using the best picture quality. You could set anti-aliasing and Level Of Detail to max.
  9. Hi all ! I'm Philippe-Minh, a French newcomer here (my presentation is there). I've already been following the rollercoaster news for 7/8 years though, on French-speaking websites like CoasterWorld and Ameworld. I plan to travel somewhere in Europe with member from these sites this summer. I love trips to theme parks, you discover new places, new cultures but in a FUN way ! In my opinion, it's also great since you can meet new people you know nothing about but with whom you share one (or more !) interest. As probably many of you, I eagerly watched the construction of Osiris @ Parc Astérix. It seems this new inverted has renewed interest for parkfan trips around Paris. Thus, I propose to escort anyone here who plans to visit the Parc Astérix during this summer ! I've been living near Paris for almost 20 years, so I could help with the language barrier and I can also serve as a FREE guide tour in/around Paris. It's not necessarily about showing the big tourist clichés like Le Louvre or the Eiffel Tower, but much more about finding cool places to eat/walk around/have a drink. The only thing I ask for in return, is that I can take part in your trip to the Parc Astérix or Disneyland ! I'll stay in Paris for much of the summer except between July 27th and August 4th and during late August. You can leave a message in this topic or send me an MP so I can give you my mail adress (or even cellphone number). It would be a genuine pleasure to companion English-speaking theme park enthousiasts : I (obviously) love riding coasters and I love speaking in English as well. à bientôt ! [Note : I don't have a driving license unfortunately, but I know perfectly how to get to the theme parks with public transportation ]
  10. Hello, fellow roller coaster enthousiasts. I'm a 19-year-old French student in economics living in Paris's suburbs. My name is Philippe-Minh but I use the nickname portemine online ! As for many people here, I discovered TPR through their light-hearted, fun-minded videos of rollercoasters. Actually, I remember I saw years ago a video of the Alveys in a park in Japan with Green Day's American Idiot as the music background - I only realise now how the title of the song is telling about TPR's sense of humour ^^. I came here to follow in a funnier way the roller coaster news, share my RCT3 creations, and discuss about what we like/love/hate in theme parks and coasters. Goliath @ Walibi Holland remains my #1. For its airtime and its final turn, of course, and also for this uniquely fun Stengel Dive Apart from rides, I fancy literature, Formula 1© , Roberto di Matteo and travelling among others. I love speaking other languages, discovering some new food, new places, and above all, new people. I'd always be glad to welcome a TPR member in France and introduce her/him the few things I know it this country. See you in the forum !
