  1. Me too! That swinging gondola was the worst I've ever felt on a ride. I never get motion sick from rides, so it really surprised me that I felt that bad on it.
  2. Busch Gardens did post a response on their blog: http://www.buschgardenstampablog.com/message-our-christmas-town-guests
  3. Has anyone had success viewing their post ride "commercial" at home? I really enjoyed that part of the post show, but the video that I emailed home doesn't seem to be working even though my Quicktime is up to date. Loved the ride. Really like the indoor graphics and effects.
  4. Me too! I was very nervous but one day I finally got up the courage to go on it with my dad. I loved it and it cured me of my fear of "going upside down" on a roller coaster.
  5. Do you think it will be open tomorrow too? I was going to go to the Food & Wine Festival tomorrow, but now I'm thinking about heading to the Magic Kingdom in the morning first if this is open.
  6. Thank you for the pictures. It looks like they've gotten a lot of work done since I went a few months ago.
  7. Also clicked like on the kitty page. I'm a proud owner of a rescue cat. I hope things work out okay for the cats.
  8. Thank you for your reviews. My sister and I are going next week. RSR sounds awesome!
  9. Got the tip of my finger cut off in a door when I was 8 and the tip had to be sewed back on. Around the same age, we had a family vacation to Disney World. While waiting to exit Big Thunder Mountain, I decided to go to the car in front of me and exit through that one, as it seemed empty and my sister next to me was taking too long for my liking. The only problem was that I did not realize that the cars were spaced apart (hey, it was really dark in the ride load out area for an 8 year old! ). So instead of walking through a car in front of me, I walked between the cars and fell onto the track! I still have a scar under my arm and my knee from cuts that I got, but luckily those were the only injuries from being a stupid, unobservant kid. When I go on that ride now, I don't know how I managed to miss that the cars had space in between them. The most annoying injury happened last year, when I tripped over one of my cat's toys and fractured a tiny bone in my foot. They could barely see the fracture on the xray, but I still have a bump on my foot that's not supposed to be there. And if I'm on my feet for a long time, my foot will really hurt. For such a minor injury, it's still giving me a lot of trouble and pain.
  10. Oh Paul Sorvino, what happened? You were in Goodfellas! This does look awesome though.
  11. Disneyland in two weeks! My second visit and my sister's first.
  12. Another poor planning story - a few friends and I decided to drive to Six Flags Over Georgia from Tallahassee back in 1997. We got slightly lost on the way there. Then we encountered a massive traffic jam as we got closer to Six Flags. While waiting in traffic, we hear on the radio that it is "Spring Break Special Weekend" at the park. Oops, we didn't plan on this. When we finally got into the park, of course the crowds were massive. I think we maybe rode 3 or 4 rides all day. Every ride had really long waits. Then it stormed, we gave up and decided to leave - and spent the long ride back to Tallahassee in freezing wet clothes. Oh well, at least I got a cool Marvin the Martian cookie jar to take home.
  13. I keep hoping Disney will give me a discount on my pass because of him, but no dice Real, your kittens are adorable!
  14. My sister and I were at the Magic Kingdom today and we noticed a fun little photo opportunity at The Haunted Mansion exit. Not sure how new this is:
  15. My cat Wally. Even my cat is "theme park" themed
