  1. 1. Do you have your videos set to auto-play on your: a. desktop computer and/or b. mobile device? NO. No autoplay. 2. Do you regularly "share" content from Facebook "page" (like the TPR page) to your own personal Facebook page? And have you shared something from the TPR page? I rarely SHARE content. 3. What kind of content are you most likely to share? (Videos, Photos, News Stories, etc?) News Stories 4. How long on average do you watch a video posted to Facebook for? Do you watch the entire video? First 30 seconds? Until you get bored? Until I get bored 5. How important are "video thumbnails" to you? (the image you see with the > Play icon before you click to watch a video) A thumbnail will often illicit my desire to see the whole video 6. What do you like/dislike about Facebook? What features do you use the most and which ones annoy you? I dont know the difference 7. Is there anything that TPR does or doesn't do on Facebook that you think we should be doing more/less of? NO. I'm happy with the content TPR posts to facebook. However, TPR's presence on Facebook has kept me away from the TPR website. Perhaps use Facebook more as a teaser and/or link to the main site.
  2. I can't believe that noboby haas put the obvious one here yet!!! ................... "OMG, I peed my pants!!!!"
  3. Nice meeting you and sharing a "FEW" of your 50 Xcelerator rides!!!!
  4. SHAWWWWWWWWWN!!!! Thanks!!! Check out the WHOLE trip on my Facebook!!!!! The Bebes' Italian Adventure
  5. The Bebes took an EPIC trip to Italy from Dec 16,2012 to Jan 11,2013. If you'd like to check out The Bebes' ENTIRE Italy adventure, check out this Facebook link!!! https://www.facebook.com/corey.giannantonio/media_set?set=a.10151249946256547.459026.650331546&type=1 Here is the ONE Theme Park Trip Report from our MONTH in Italy!!! SUNDAY Dec 23, 2012 Italy Rainbow Magicland We had checked the train schedule the day before and headed toward Roma Termini with plenty of extra time before our train to Valmontone departed When we got there to purchase our tickets, we found that the SUNDAY scheduled train was 8am, NOT 8:35am! We now had 5 min to make our train (THIS photo was taken BEFORE we found out that the train left at 8am!!!), and the next one was at 1pm. Our one hour train ride through the countryside was nice. We arrived at Valmontone station and waited for the FREE shuttle to Rainbow Magicland at 9:20AM. Around 9:45am, another patron called the park to see where the shuttle was. "The first shuttle will be at 11:15am". SAY WHAT???!!!!!! We had been conversing with a local (In Italian!!!) and she said we could walk. It was only about 20min away. So we followed her, along with another Asian couple. As soon as we got on the road, our guide stopped to ask some men "how to get to Rainbow Magicland??" Uh oh. They shook their head and waved her off. UH OH! She continued on and so did we, through a treacherous stretch along a highway with no sidewalk, and deciphering roundabouts. Our guide would stop and ask each person we passed where Rainbow Magicland was. OH NO!!!! We kept following traffic signs toward Rainbow Magicland, and about an hour later, we finally made it!!!! It was 10:45am, so we still beat the first shuttle! Rainbow Magicland!!! The nearest theme park to Rome and the newest in Italy (opened in 2011). We would later learn that Rainbow is a company that produces popular children's programming in Italy (they're like the Italian DISNEY), so this is sort of like Italy's version of Disneyland, complete with Rainbow characters such as Bombo, Monster Allergy, Winx, and Huntik. The theming was VERY elaborate and interesting. AND, since it was the holiday season, it was all decked out for Christmas!!!! TOTALLY shaved theming!!! There seemed to be scary creatures overtaking everything, like the giant serpent on the tower. Even Lady Bebe was attacked!!!! Italians LOVE nutella! NO, SERIOUSLY! They would serve it EVERYWHERE with EVERYTHING! The main courtyard with a christmas tree in the center and SHOCK, the "big" rollercoaster to the right. Shock would turn out to be a special ride for The Bebes..... Our 200th credit!!!!! We had skipped a few kiddie coasters on our recent Bay Area trip to make sure that this would be #200. Shock was a very fun launched coaster with a few inversions and a lot of zipping back n forth. Short. But sweet! We rode a few times in a row. 47 L'isola volante SHORT.wmv VIDEO! L'Isola Volante (The Flying Island) was a sort of rotating observation tower. Not thrilling, but a good view of the park, the mall next door, and the Italian countryside. Even the eateries were heavily themed!!! Mr. Bebe was snacked on by a hungry hungry hippo Next, we hit up Bombo, a small junior coaster. They had on-ride photos. They weren't selling them, just displaying them, and everyone was snapping screenshots. When in Rome..... They had this nice carousel. Maison Houdini - A neat rotating room effect ride. We rode one similar in Holland called Merlin's Castle. I believe SFGAdv and SFNE have a similar ride. The Realm of the Small (aka Kiddie Land!!!!) This spider was named Ronnie! We rode Ronnie. Our third credit of the day.... Il Bruco, the kiddie coaster. Another fantastically themed eatery. This place was more of a cafe, with gelati, dolci, cappucini, and small panini. A look across the lake that inhabits the center of the park. It was very cold and overcast today. Cagliostro. An indoor spinning wild mouse ride IN THE DARK. Manly in Italy Bebe camoflage Mr Bebe is a pretty pretty princess We chose to stop for lunch at the Domus Aurea. Not because of the authentic Italian food options..... .... but for the "Turkish" toilet option!!!! The food was incredibly good for park food!!! Lady Bebe joins the cast of Winx Huntik 5D, a 3d blaster ride. Lady Bebe won. The AWESOME Huntik theming. Our 5th and final coaster credit was Olandese Volante (Flying Dutchman). This was an ODD coaster. It wasn't particularly fun and was quite rough. The front of the train was a big heavy ship hull, which I think lead to the poor traction of the train. Gato Baleno, the Magicland Mascot Mr. Bebe was chased throughout the park by, what the Asians referred to as, Gozirra. There were two water rides: A large Splashdown & The Rapids. Lady Bebe would have None of THAT! Another look across the lake from the front side of the park. Merry Christmas Rainbow Magicland!!!! We hopped on the shuttle that takes us back to the train station. And we slept all the way back to Rome!!!!
  6. Thanks to David, TPR, and SFMM for letting MR. Bebe partake in the Media Day festivities!!!! It was pretty awesome and interesting. The ride is pretty damn cool! It certainly won't make any top 10 lists, but it's a solid addition to the SFMM lineup. It's the ONLY launch coaster except for the O.G. (Superman) which is a vastly different ride. YOLO is smooth, quiet, and surprising. It provides some thrills in a manner that is very UN-Magic-Mountain-like and very unique. The restraints are somewhat uncomfortable on the shins, but otherwise it's a very comfortable ride. True, it doesn't offer A LOT of elements and certainly has enough energy that it could have been extended, but don't we say that about pretty much EVERY new coaster? I'd rank it behind X2 and Tatsu for sure (Personally), but it probably slides in somewhere Top 5 in the park on MOST anybody's list. The Loaded Chili Dog was SOLID, and I'm a big chili dog connoisseur! Sorry, there wasn't enough room left in the belly to try the wings. The three new YOLOcharacter were very cool and I think they'll prove popular. The YOLOgirl was dancing to the music in her stilt outfit, which was impressive! Also.... David was wrong! Mr. Bebe was unhappy because (B) he is out of focus. You can look for a very un-official report from Mr. Bebe on the Bebe's Adventures in the coming days. Thanks again to TPR, SFMM, and David for a very YOLOexperience. -Mr. Bebe YOLO!!!!!
  7. Yeah SuperShawn!!!!!!! You have a thread!!!! SOMEHOW, I've been waaay outta the loop!!!! Nice stuff! I agree that the sky screamer is way more "sketchy" (I rode a removeable one at a fair), making it a more intense ride than the ultra-controlled WindSeeker. -Mr.
  8. Noooooooooooooooooooo!!!!! How did I miss the LAST EVER Find the Ducky Game???!!!!!! Nooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!! -Mr. Bebe
  9. RE: X / X2 The inside seat is ALWAYS less bumpy than the outside seat. Also, the 2nd to last row & last row seem to give me a relatively consistent good ride, whereas the front half almost always beats me up a bit. That being said, After hundreds of laps, I've learned "HOW" to ride X2, and I always have a great ride!!!! -MR BEBE
  10. The Bebes were at SFMM recently and Yolo-Coaster was Up and Running!!!!! OMG!!!! We decided not to ride it though, since everyone aboard looked like they weren't having ANY fun at all (see pic below). Also, the track up near Superman comes AWEFULLY close to pedestrians (no joking!!!). NOBODY on this ride is having fun!!!! OH SO Close!!!! SFMM new Buses that replace the old Trams Gertrude and Lady Bebe at SFMM April 2013
  11. SERIOUSLY. I've followed Paula on this site and another competing forum for over 10 years. She has always been up front, honest and informative. This is just ONE of the small things that Holiday World does to set themselves apart from other parks!!!! I, for one, applaud Paula for her participation AND Holiday World for their fearlessness in sharing information. xoxo Paula I visited HW in 2006 when Voyage was sparkling new and it blew me away!!!! It is, in my opinion, the best rollercoaster (wood or steel) ever imagined (circa 2006). It upsets me to hear how it has torn itself apart over a few short years. I will be returning this year and will get to see just how much it has (or hasn't) degraded since my initial rides. Hopefully, HW will be able to solidify a solution that will bring this amazing ride back to peak form and hod up for many years to come. Whatever happens.....It DOES NOT nee an inversion. What Holiday World DOES need...... EASTER! And what does Easter Land need??? A coaster with 2 or 3 loops that have pastel Easter Eggs inset in them, and lots of little bunny hills (ala Phoenix at Knoebels). And.... It could be called Bunny Hop. -Mr. Bebe Easter Land Coaster Concept
  12. Time to jump start this thread again!!!! The Bebes still have 3 unused picks..... The Bebes will select: HOUSTON ROCKETS UTAH JAZZ GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS woot woot!!!
