  1. Thats actually a lot cheaper than Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. I think its ten for a wristband, for two mazes. At least it was last year. They don't even have a free wristband for season pass holders this year. SFMM's looks freaking sweet! I wish I could go down there this year...
  2. They arnt plastic. They are concreteish or something similar. The park did look really nice. It was by far the most crowded opening day I've ever been too. Probably due to the massive amount of advertising. The were running 3 trains on Medusa (sorta) and V2 wasnt open yet. It looks like it should be a good year this year. It was cool to meet Sean in line at Medusa.
  3. Theres a chance I'll be there on saturday, unless I go to PGA or Waterworld...
  4. And we already have a junior versions of those. It just opened in Tavas. I dont think we will get an Intamin Halfpipe... I think those were kind of a failed concept. They dont look extrodinary fun IMO. I havent ridden one though so I cant say if they are good. I would like to see some S&S Power Towers there or some other flat or a nice coaster that goes over the midway. I will probally be going Monday so I will try to get some more picts.
  5. Well Zonga is almost gone :O It had a great layout and some really insane G's, but thats where the good stuff ends. The trains were horrible. The OSTR's were... horrible. The loading times were... horrible. It looks nice though... Just in case you wanted some pictures. http://www.xtremecoastin.com/gallery/sfmw/updates/5-19-06/ We took those last Friday, the ride should be gone by Memorial day.
  6. Maybe he didn't say it was his favorite coaster Maybe it was too intense for him and it "hurt" him... lol jk... He probably was on some news channel and it just hasn't been surfaced on the internet. I did see him being interviewed.
  7. Paul Reuben was there... We saw him during the "2-hour" wait for Tatsu while they were doing the live stuff. Ooo, I guess that probably means that I and the other people in the station h ave waited the longest for Tatsu Both were not open. And wow... Tatsu is AMAZING. The pretzel loop's forces were insane, its by far the most intense B&M I have ever been on. Since this was my first flyer I was blown away by it. You really do feel like your flying! Thanks Robb for making this happen! And also a big thank you to Six Flags for the opportunity to ride Tatsu at 4:35 AM and all the free stuff like drinks and on-ride photos!
  8. Personally I would like to see a ride that could hold up it's own withOUT the theming, but with the theming the ride would be amazing. This might sound strange for a Disney park but a flyer could work well into the park. Flying around some mountain or through a jungle...
  9. On Saturday (April 22) Tava's Jungleland opened!!! I have to say, I enjoyed it quite a bit and spent over 2 hours in it! I was able to get on Congo Queen, Jungle Jeeps, and Nairobi Lookout Balloons. I was on the first cycle of Congo Queen for the public. They only allow 8 adults on the ride per cycle. The Balloons are also fun to spin. Frog Hopper is fun to watch, but I wasn't able to get on... yet. Most of the time we played in the play structure. The top slide is fun to swing in and when you get to the curly part, you hit it very hard and it shakes the entire slide. There is an operator at the top of the tower making sure that kids that are too small don't slide down and that they wait until the next kids get out of it. There are two smaller slides that are unmonitored and if you swing into them you can get rubber rash. There are several musical instruments, two find the pictures, two periscopes, two skill things with little balls, several rope bridges, and a fake hamburger grill!!! So if you see some kid trying to sell "hamburgers" to all the little kids running around, that's probably me... Oasis was running but mostly to get the water jets unclogged. It was pretty cold that day, but I still ran through it. The other rides were closed but should be opening soon. They haven't added any animals yet, but will be adding some in the opening sign supports which double as cages and around the Jeep Tours. There will be camels next to the jeeps and it goes close enough that the animals could potentially bite or spit at the kids. It is a very nice addition to the park especially for the younger set but I still had fun.
