  1. Great trip report! Nice to see Schwur des Kärnan with all of its theming. When I rode it, it was very bare bones. They did have the row selection room but all the other rooms, corridors and outside was plain concrete. Space Race (indoor bumper cars) brings back happy memories. Our small group would takes turns at singing "Space Race!" in a crescendo.
  2. Great trip report! Many happy memories. I believe that photo was from one of the themed Cottages around the boat ride, which had scenes inside. We did not find any dark ride within the castle. I vaguely remember from a previous visit a few years ago there used to be a dark ride (Searching the internet it was called Transdemonium) - James
  3. Really enjoying this trip report. Bringing back lots of fantastic memories. You have called me John a couple of times (picture of poseidon and it was me and Ryan who left to ride Silver Star) but I will forgive you - James.
  4. 1. No. 6. Not very important, but I do like new gadgets. HD is good enough for my dodgy eyes. 7. I currently have a 3D television which I very rarely use for 3D. Glasses are too uncomfortable to wear and use for extended game playing. I hire 3D movies but they are more of a novelty than something I really need. When I replace my TV (in a number of years time) I would rate 4K as a higher priority than 3D but would probably get both if 3D is still going. - James.
  5. 1. Both auto-play off. It annoys me when a video I am not interested in starts playing. 2. Very rarely. If I am in the video or even more rarely if I have been on or will be on the ride. (Will not make much difference as I only have 87 friends ) 3. Videos / Photos. See 2 above. 4. The entire video. (Fast forward the lift hill....) 5. Important. Draws me in. 6. I just flick through the news feed two or three times a day. Due to the clutter I often miss stuff. 7. No.
  6. Great bonus video! Only complaint is that I am in it and I have a speaking part. I hate hearing myself on videos. Only joking Keep up the great work. Thanks. - James.
  7. 1. Blue-Ray from LoveFilm by post. 2. Amazon Prime Instant video, very rarely. Only use it as I get it cheap as I used to use LoveFilm Instant. 3. One or two. 4. Nope. 5. Full length, never. Occasional short videos mainly from Facebook news feed. - James.
  8. There was not any comments but I will post the rest of the photos from the Zombie dinner anyway!! Zombie dinner was an additional charge but (obviously) included food. As we visited during the week the dinner was after the parks rides closed. WARNING SPOILERS: For anyone planning on doing this dinner I would recommend not reading this report. As the park was closing we gathered outside the Russian themed building. Bjorn meeting one of the locals entertaining the queue. Time to head inside. Some of our hosts borrowed a camera and did a selfie. Very cool!! Selfie with Bjorn. During starter the curtains around a square stage in the middle of the room fell down to reveal a street dancer. Pretty good but not as good as people seen in TV talent shows. This was followed by a poll dancer Bjorn and Holger supplied a lot of poll dancer photos I have picked just a couple. Bjorn enjoying a beer. Another selfie. A Russian (ish) style dance with audience participation. Holger enjoying the main course. It was very good! The meal was a set meal, pasta, chicken and a tomato sauce. During dinner a projection effect on the stage showed a vortex which occasionally morphed into a scary face! Half way through dinner, there was an attempted break in by the zombies. The hosts protected us and walked around telling everyone to remain calm and enjoy our meal. (They told us this in Belgian, which I do not understand, so the affect was even better for me). The back lit screens were very effective. The zombies tried to break in through the main door. Lots of rattling. One Zombie did break in and was caught by a couple of the hosts and placed in a cage near the stage. The Zombie was taunted for most of the night. Zombie attack repelled, back to the show with some magic tricks. Bjorn joining in with some dancing. Desert, which was very good! The main host of the event was a drag queen. He/she spent the whole night drinking the bottle of vodka (water) and was flirting with a number of guests. He/she took took to the stage and sang a version of 'The show must go on' by Queen. As the song came to an end the Zombies broke into the room. At first a couple... The hosts tried to repel them... Then some more... The host were starting to be over run... Then a lot more... Too many !!! (Probably most of the Zombies from the entire park!) The lights failed and the hosts told us to run for our lives!!!!! The mood was slightly dampened as they told us to ensure we grab our coats and all our belonging first, but it was very effective! Not next (this) year but I would like to go back to Walibi Belgium's Halloween event! It was very good!
  9. Great trip report Divv. It was a real shame that I missed this trip. - James.
  10. Great trip report Bill! I find it amusing to see a group of us (including me) riding a swinging log rather than a mega-lite. - James.
  11. Fantastic trip report so far... Brings back lots of happy memories. I make a great Gorilla - James
  12. The pictures do not do the trip justice. The trip was even more EPIC than the pictures. This trip had stand out moments daily. To name just a few: - Eclipse tower climb, - Extreme ropes course, - SCAD tower, - TPR Grand Prix, - Random ropes courses, - Bouncy things of death, - Liesberg, - Grona Lund, - Loads of incredible flats including free booster (at Power Park) - and loads more. Not to mention loads of ERT and BEER!! A huge thanks to all the people I hung out with, the park staff and a bigger thanks to Robb and Elissa. EPIC!!!!!!! - James.
  13. Yay for EGPT (Exclusive Goofy Pool Time). A great welcome to Hong Kong Disneyland resort. Although Goofy was a bit too friendly for one person - James.
  14. Great trip report! Brings back lots of memories. My favourite ride at Amazing World was the amazing but strange 'half JCB' flat ride. - James.
