  1. Just read on the USJ Japanese site that Hollywood Dream backwards is now a permanent ride. "Back drop of very popular large screaming to meet the desire of many, ongoing decision as regular attraction! Hollywood Dream - The Ride-back drop "
  2. "Note: “The Legend of Mythica”, the daytime harbor show which opened in July 2006, will close on September 7, 2014." I thought this was like Fantasmic or The Electrical Parade in the US & would become the Tokyo Disney show that would run forever. A great, unique show.
  3. Not sure if this is too late to mention but Tokyo Disneylands Jubilation Parade has its last day Friday April 5th before they start up the new 30th parade April 15. I'd switch dates & do Disney on the more likely quieter Thurday & hit Tobu Zoo on the Sunday.
  4. Amusement parks, primarily for the coasters, but its more about the quality of the park than type that matters to me. I cannot visit LA & not do both Magic Mountain & Disney, but can skip Knotts & Universal. Would i go to an unthemed Busch park with the same coasters? Hell yea!
  5. Thanks to Mitch & all those who submitted ballots. With rides on a trimless Expedition GeForce, i can see why it returned to the top. Having not yet ridden any of the Wing Coaster, the results of those were interesting, as noted.
  6. The are available at a stand nearby the merry go round & tend to sell or out early. Im not 100% but i think it is open most/if not every day.
  7. Also an Intamin fan here. I really liked the megalite & Regina was good too at Tobu, the park was quite relaxing & quiet. But I definitely have preferred my time at Fuji Q & their 4 big coasters. I'd recommend Fuji, but only if you shell out for their fast passes.
  8. It was always pretty average with a great "scenic" view. My favorite part, when you unexpectedly get constant pockets of airtime at the last bit, due to the roughness on the home straight.
  9. When i went for Halloween & Christmas last year i saw alot of Duffy merchandise that had a matching Shellie May counterpart. Though Duffy was uber popular, Shellie May was treated more as a secondary character to Duffy & showed up sparingly & no way had the huge demand Duffy had at Cape Cod, at least not last year. I never actually saw her myself in 9 days there, whereas Duffy was a main character in Disney Seas 10th Anniversary show.

  12. ^And Universal Hollywood is worth it for Transformers too Oh how could i forget Transformers [havent been since that opened]. For my first US trip i visited parks around LA & Orlando as well as Cedar Point & Six Flags Great Adventure Staying in LA, NYC,Florida & Ohio. I got a pretty decent selection of coasters, though not too many woodies, you do [now] get 2 very good ones in El Toro & Apocalypse. I found there was public/hotel transport to all the parks, though Magic Mountain proved slightly harder to find.
  13. When i have visited the states form Oz, i tend to do it via LA & visit Magic Mountain & the 2 Disneys. Knotts isn't a must do if your doing several other parks on your trip, although Xcellerator is great. If your definitely doing Universal Orlando, i'd only go to Universal Hollywood if the Backlot Tour really interests you.
