  1. ok, I'll come out of hiding. I used to be IceDragon... Long time no see...
  2. hey all, I return under a new name, all because of a dream I had last night... Robb and Elissa were mentioned in it O.o Can't remember my old accounts password (IceDragon), though no doubt nobody remembers me Just a small "hey-de-ho" to get me back ^_^
  3. I like having a colourful wallet though...
  4. I made mine using two photo's I took while at Disneyland Paris to commemorate the opening of Tower of Terror. Feel free to use it yourself ^.^ Background
  5. Well, so far I have one helix piercing, although that'll be accompanied by another five over the next few months, and maybe both lobes being stretched... It'll look like I've got spikes coming out of both ears ^.^
  6. She's a year older already??? Wow, time does fly!! Happy birthday little dudette!!!
  7. If you value living the rest of the day, don't go near it! OK, that may have been a slight exageration, but it's as painful as hell. I came off with a cut on my ear... Not impressed.
  8. My friends tried convincing me Rita was the fastest rollercoaster ever... They also said that Space Mountain: Mission 2 wasn't on the park map...
  9. I doubt many know, but most colleges in England that study IT and other subjects get offered a four day 'funducational' trip to Disneyland, where you're expected to turn up for 3 seminars, each lasting 40 minutes. The great thing is, afterwards you get to enjoy both the theme parks there So, day one and it's 7am. We're all sitting on the bus waiting to leave as one person was nerly left behind. We pull away from the college and the person that was late didn't realise you needed a passport to go to another country... We basically had to amuse ourselves as best as we could for 1 1/2 hours while we drove to the Eurotunnel, where we got a strict 15 minute break before we could get on the train. We pretty much drove onto the train and stayed in our seats for about an hour whilst we were moving. We were allowed outside the coach, but we couldn't be bothered to even undo our seatbelts, so we stayed where we were and talked. We finally arrived in France and everyone cheered. We're not sure why, but I guess they thought we were nearly there... Little did they know we were about a 4 hour drive away from the park. Once again, we were left to our own devices and when we started cheering Fmily Guy, they put it on! We were pretty impressed they actually put a movie on for us. We all pretty much shut up for an hour and a half until it finished, when they put Surf's Up! on, to a round of boo's and hisses, but in all honesty, I actually really enjoyed the movie! That movie finished and we still had about half an hour to kill, just enough time to play 'eye spy' and 'try and spot the Disneyland signs', which pretty much made the coach journy fly by. We arrived at Hotel Cheyenne and we all cheered, glad the journey was over. It took about 8 hours of sitting on a cramped bus to get here, and we all wanted out quickly! We got our luggage from the storage compartment and walked over to the entrance where we had to wait while out tickets and rooms were sorted out. We were given two card keys for each room and a few pieces of paper telling us what the seminars were about. We had a rolecall after unpacking at the main recetion desk where we were told to go and have fun with the remaining time we had left, which was about two hours. We dashed for the bus and started singing disney songs as we headed for the parks, choosing to go to the Studio's first. We went to queue up for Tower of Terror, but chose Rock 'n' Rollercoaster instead; the queuetime was only 20 minutes. Queuing up for the ride, we were right next to the launch. We were having a great time waving friends off and laughing at people's faces just before the launch. We counted down for another launch and yelled 'GO!' as the glass shattered on the display, but it didn't go. All the floodlights in the station turned on and we realised it had broken down. We all moaned and contemplated leaving to go on Tower of Terror, but we didn't. In actual fact, we were argueing so much, ten minutes had passed and the ride had re-opened. We all laughed and apologised and what not and continued on. We got to the station and boarded the train. I had an expensive camera in my bag and I didn't want it to be broken, so I was almost gobsmacked when they told me to put it between my legs. Of course I obliged, but I didn't want to do it. I pretty much held onto it for dear life, That night we went to Planet Hollywood to eat. I ordered the Spaghetti Pomorodo and I couldn't eat it, it looked too good to eat! We finally finished dinne (it was bloody amazing) and we sorted the bill. There was about 10 of us and we all wanted to tip the waitress 2 euro's each, but we only had enough for an eight euro tip, but that was because on of the group decided to tip her stragiht to her pocket before we sorted it all out. We got pretty pi$$ed off with him. We returned to the hotel to find out people had bought alcohol from a shop nearby. We had a few sips of it and stopped when we heard the guy who arranged it coming down the corridor. We dived between the room dividers and locked the door, pretending we hadn't been with the other group the whole night. So that was pretty much it for day one, a few room raids and raves, a little alcohol and such, ut lets get on with the pictures!!!!! Here's another picture of it. Day one finishes there, even though we all had raves in our rooms... Stay tuned for update number 2 of 4! We ran out of time and trotted back to the hotel slowly. On the way out, we passed this demonic doggy thing that pretty much followed me, yapping continuously. Another car we liked, so we got two people to sit on it :\. Somehow I think I'll be keeping my car away from my friends if they like it... then we found a STITCH PODIUM!!!! We went mental! We found Disney ears and tried them on Here we are fighting over who stole the 10 euro's... half an hour later we found out Swifty had already given it to the waitress My dinner. It was called Peter Off to Planet Hollywood!!! There were just too many photo ops around the park! We found this outside R'n'R, so we decided to pose on it Heres Swifty (the guy who fubar'd the tip) and Steph queuing up for R'n'R OK, this made me crap my pants. Just looking at it scared me. I have a phobia of heights and freefalling, so yeah... hehe, posers! it's a big-ass poster!!! We couldn't believe how big it was!!! Finally! Rolecall was over and we were let loose on the parks!! ... here it is!!! Down the corridor... Our room's here somewhere... Yeah, the camera came out again... Can't ever keep the damned thing in its' bag... We pull in to see someone dancing only 6km to Disney!!! Back on the coach, Surfs Up! was playing Does anyone know what nature tastes like? FRENCH POCKY!!!!! OK, so we had a pittstop in France at a service station when we saw this. Is it really a Burger King in disguise? Steph and Oli enjoying Family Guy Look! Family Guy! hooray for France! Welcome to my lair! Excuse the colours, we're getting the decorators in next week And this is the coach we were sat on for eight hours. We even managed to shove Matt through a tunnel suspended in mid air. The funny thing was, his head was sticking out one side while his feet were sticking out the other! We found a kiddie play area and had to play on it for 5 minutes. Yeah, it was fun! The camera went away for a while, or at least until we had a pitstop at the eurotunnel, where we all took funny pictures of each other This is Pav playing his PSP or poosp as he called it And this is Danny. We changed his name to Oli Sykes for the trip FLASH WARS!!! One game we didn't like to play We can *finally* take pictures of the world outside and this is Shell This is Jack This is the person who wsa both late and who forgot her passport. On with the introductions! This is me and Leah at 7am. How we're smiling is beyond me.
  10. I found the scariest video ever... Can someone say bad acid trip?
  11. You sure? I'm pretty sure it was the Every Breath You Take super-hype remix
  12. Heh, scary thing was... I was there that day. We were on Vortex, being pounded into oblivion by the drizzle and we looked down at our feet. Over the lake we saw a fork of lightning, and I must say, twisting lightning is a once-in a lifetime experience...
  13. Oooohh... A secret building scheme without any press releases? I hope this is true! ^_^ Actually, it looks like they're just doing a little re-design of the map, unless someone has seen something happening there? Intriguing either way!
  14. Thanks for all the advice so far! I know there'll be many students who'll benefit from the advice. I guess the next question would be, how long are the queues this time of year? I can't wait! 2 weeks to go this sunday!!!
