Which 2018 park visit was your favorite? Dollywood 4. Your favorite 2018 park addition (ride, food, show, etc)? Twisted Timbers 5. What ride exceeded your expectations the most in 2018? Thunderhead at Dollywood 6. Best meal/food at a park in 2018? I try to avoid eating at parks. 7. What was your favorite new coaster of 2018 NOT made by RMC or Larson? Lamest ride/coaster you rode in 2018? Wacky Worm at Lake Winnepesaukah 11. What roller coaster currently sits at the top of your bucketlist? (degree of difficulty: NOT a new-for-2019 ride) Steel Dragon 2000 12. What new-for-2019 ride or coaster are you most looking forward to? Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance 13. Name the first totally middle-of-the-road (not bad/not great) park that comes to mind. Indiana Beach 14. You're in Orlando and magically have a 1-hour ERT session on 1 coaster of your choice at any park in the city. You choose... Either Mako or Rock 'n' Roller Coaster 15. Discovery Kingdom, 2010 18. Intamin or Schwarzkopf? You may only choose one. Never done a Schwarzkopf, so Intamin 19. Battle of Kings Coasters: Island or Dominion? Pick one. Never done Kings Island, so Kings Dominion 20. What was the longest you waited for a ride/coaster in 2018? 210 minute wait for Avatar Flight of Passage 21. What roller coaster have you ridden more than any other? I don't know. It's something at Disneyland or Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Probably either Space Mountain or Apollo's Chariot. 22. Best drop tower under 150 feet? idk 23. Maverick or Millennium Force? (If you haven't been to CP, pick what you want to ride more) Haven't done CP, Maverick 24. Log flumes or sky rides? You can only choose one. Tough. Sky buckets probably. 25. What are 3 things you enjoying doing at your home park other than riding rides? Depends on which is the home park. If it's Disneyland, then I say the parades/nighttime shows. At any other park, the only other thing I really do is photography/videography 26. What is your second favorite Cedar Fair park and why? Kings Dominion. Only done Kings Dominion and Carowinds, and Carowinds felt a little nicer than Kings Dominion 27. What is your home park and give us two good reasons why we should pay it a visit. Have you ever been hit with something (loose change/a tree/vomit/etc) while riding something? Bird poop. 36. Skywarps: credits or no? State your case. Yes. They have a brief moment of no contact with the tires. They are a launched coaster. That said, they're only barely a coaster. 37. Turkey legs: nah or yaaaaassssss? No experience. 38. What is the most recent B&M that you rode? Wild Eagle 39. You can eat nothing but corn dogs, churros or funnel cake for the next 48 hours, which do you choose? Churros 40. 2. 1. Fury 325 (325 feet) 2. Intimidator 305 (305 feet) 3. Intimidator (232 feet) 4. Wild Eagle (210 feet) 5. Griffon (205 feet)
  3. Visited Dollywood today for the first time. Lightning Rod is still down. Mystery Mine was down a lot as well. Tennessee Tornado, Wild Eagle, Thunderhead, and FireChaser Express were all up and running. Crowds were extremely light. Got 5 rides on Thunderhead, 4 rides on Tornado and Wild Eagle, 3 on Blazing Fury and FireChaser Express, and 2 on Mystery Mine. I was there from 10:00 to 5:00. Also got on most of the flat rides and water rides. The Screamin' Swing was only running one side. I don't know if this is typical, because i know it closes after Labor Day weekend, but the signage for Mountain Slidewinder was down. If I'd been able to stay later, I'd have just rode Thunderhead over and over again. That ride was really great. I expected it to be a very good wooden coaster, but I didn't think it would be nearly as amazing as it was. I can't imagine how much better Lightning Rod will be.
  4. I'm up to 52 credits. This is where every Park I've been to with 2 coasters ranks for me. This could change soon, as I'm hitting Dollywood and Lake Winnepesaukah. Carowinds - Fury 325 (1) and Intimidator (4) = 5 Kings Dominion - Intimidator 305 (2) and Twisted Timbers (3) = 5 Six Flags Discovery Kingdom - Medusa (5) and Roar (12) = 17 (Haven't gotten on Joker yet) Busch Gardens Williamsburg - Alpengeist (8) and Griffon (9) = 17 Disneyland Anaheim - California Screamin' (11) and Space Mountain (23) = 34 Walt Disney World - Rock 'n' Roller Coaster (19) and Expedition Everest (24) = 43 Legoland California - Dragon (39) and Coastersaurus (40) = 79
  5. Any information on Tempesto's recent downtime? It was down the past 2 sundays.
  6. Rode I305 3 times within the last month. Don't know if that counts, because it wasn't August, but Still.
  7. I think it was Intimidator 305 on Saturday. Either that or Anaconda.
  8. Fury 325 Intimidator 305 Twisted Timbers Intimidator Medusa (SFDK) Volcano: The Blast Coaster Dominator Alpengeist Griffon Afterburn
  9. Something of note - I was not stopped at Twisted Timbers with my phone in my cargo shorts pocket, and I'm fairly sure staff noticed in the station, and at the front of the line. Especially given that the rain outlined it and my wallet in the other pocket pretty well.
  10. Was there today. Got on just about everything twice, because crowds were very light. Ended up leaving early, though, because at 4:30, Flight of Fear, Backlot Stunt Coaster, Twisted Timbers, Volcano, Apple Zapple, and a substantial number of flat rides were all down. Volcano and Apple Zapple were down all day. Had a great time!
