  1. But on the bright side it means we'll be getting something better... right?
  2. KBF's Boomerang has been spotted in the Netherlands for refurbishment. Seems like it would be an unnecessary expense to have it refurbished overseas if it's actually coming to MiA. But maybe it's just because that's where Vekoma is based out of. Do relocated Vekoma rides typically get refurbished over there?
  3. Weekends are usually pretty busy. I've waited over 90 minutes for Timbers in past years. But I don't typically visit on weekends anymore.
  4. Worst part of your "joke" is, you're probably right If MiA gets the Boomerang, I hope it comes with the new Vekoma trains and a repaint. I would also love for Richard Michael Crosby to pay a visit to do his magic on Wolverine Wildcat, but that will never happen. I would expect a repaint, but I wouldn't get my hopes up for new trains. I'm not even going to get my hopes up for them to get it in the first place.
  5. With the recent excitement about RMC's raptor test video, I can only help but think and dream that MiA looks in to it as a potential investment. Although being single seater cars, as small of a park as MiA may be, i'd assume the capacity wouldn't quite be up to par.
  6. Yeah I ended up going last Thursday for about 4 hours. Thunderhawk was operating all day. The place was dead so I got a couple rides on everything. Wasn't exactly impressed with the hill that replaced the trick track on Timbers, but I guess it was nice not having to brace myself for a rib-rocking. Outside of that, same park it has been for a decade. I still go every year just for Timbers though.
  7. Does anyone know if Thunderhawk is operating yet? I heard it was down for quite a while and I'm thinking about making a trip up there tomorrow.
  8. I've had worse at Six Flags... When Shockwave was running VR at SFOT one day, the dispatches were 12 min. or more What exactly do they have to do that is so time consuming? I've still never had the opportunity to ride a coaster with VR integrated. Do they have to be re-calibrated for every run? Because I can't imagine getting them properly fastened to everyone's head could take much longer than buckling and locking everyone in.
  9. When the Boomerang rumor was first brought up a couple years back I was repulsed by it. But now I don't care. The park just needs SOMETHING "new". I also hope Wolverine Wildcat gets a full re-tracking/re-profiling at some point. I adore the layout and it has so much potential for decent airtime and forces that aren't painful.
